As part of expanding the Pandora Digital and Technology organization in Copenhagen, we are looking for a Solution Architect.
Your Role as a Solution Architect:
As an Architect in the integration platform team, you will be working on new technologies setting the standard for how to best utilize event based architecture, APIs and other integration capabilities. PANDORA is working on creating more compelling consumer experiences and building solid and flexible integrations is a key enabler for this.
You will play a very important role in a technical team. The team is responsible for supporting Product Teams within their journey with strong platforms, added capabilities, training, standards and E2E architecture.
This role will work in an integrations platform team, enabling product team to enhance velocity by providing easy-to-use integration services, guiding and supporting in reviewing integration architecture. The interaction between product team will happen through integrations, putting this team at the heart of data exchange. The architect will work with data integration capabilities, platforms, and guidelines as well as support the architectural roadmap ensuring new technologies are reviewed to better serve current and future use-cases. Working across product teams the person should quickly understand business requirements to provide the right guidance and support.
The person has knowledge and experience in setting up and managing an event-based architecture as well as API gateways, while also balancing priorities to utilize other integration components. The role has an understanding of the prevalent integration platforms in the market and is curious to stay up to date and try out new technologies.
The person is pragmatic and focused on how to best enable the product teams in producing high quality solutions, enhancing developer productivity and performance. Key is working actively to build self-service as an integrate part of delivering the data integration capabilities, driving standardization through guidelines, support, and coaching.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the solution architecture creation to provide state of the art integrations to Pandora Integration landscape based on event-driven architecture, API, and micro-batch/ batch where applicable.
- Drive high availability tier 1 integration platform capabilities, e.g., EDA, API gateways and other capabilities.
- Continuously improve and evangelize modernized integration methods, patterns and open-source tools in our EDA and API journey.
- Work with Product teams and other Platform Teams to ensure that integrations are coherent with the Pandora strategy.
- You will drive best practices and standardization. You will focus on providing technical expertise in the areas of architecture, technical delivery, and design
- Work closely with Delivery teams, Business Analysts to translate complex business specs into technical specs.
- Review and approval of technical integration solutions and associated documentation
- Define guidelines, data contracts and patterns in close collaboration with community members.
- Actively participate in daily, weekly & sprint-related team meetings and brainstorming activities related to the project issues, collaborate with development and involvement in QA/testing and launching of e2e implementations.

What is needed to succeed:
- Expert on integration technologies and patterns within the realm of event-driven architecture using preferable Kafka, micro-service architecture (Kubernetes, Azure functions), API platforms (Azure APIM, Kong, Mulesoft) and micro-batch technologies as Azure Data factory.
- Extensive experience with multiple integration platforms and know that platforms are merely tooling – what matters are integration patterns, guidelines, approaches, and governance structures and sticking to the principles
- Extensive Integration architecture experience with full life
- Demonstrated track-record in designing scalable transitional integration architecture integrating future state platforms with legacy platforms.
- Expert insight in designing re-usable schema models in publish/subscribe scenarios.
- Strong understanding of complex business problems to ensure projects are leveraging the appropriate technology and the technical design.
- Highly motivated and self-starter approach to job with a focus on delivering business value.
- Inquisitive attitude and passionate about problem solving.
- A thirst for knowledge, strong initiative, a positive “whatever it takes” attitude and a proven ability to successfully work with other team members across departments and levels of authority.

- Highly experienced with various CI/CD process and tools GitLab, Containerization technologies
