About the Role

As a Senior UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the vision and execution of our digital platform. You will not only design intuitive, engaging, and user-centric experiences but also lead design strategy across product teams. In this role, you’ll drive complex initiatives, mentor designers, and champion design excellence that elevates both our customer satisfaction and business outcomes.

 

More specifically, your responsibilities will include:


Design Leadership & Strategy

  • Leading UX efforts across multiple projects, from discovery through delivery, ensuring design quality and consistency.
  • Partnering with product and engineering leadership to shape product vision and roadmap with a user-first perspective.
  • Mentoring and providing feedback to junior and mid-level designers, fostering growth and raising the overall design bar.

 

User Research & Insights:

  • Defining research strategies to uncover deep user needs, behaviours, and motivations.
  • Translating insights into opportunities that inform product strategy and design direction.
  • Championing data-driven design by balancing qualitative research with quantitative analysis.

 

Advanced Interaction & Visual Design

  • Delivering high-fidelity prototypes, flows, and specifications that set a standard for clarity and craft.
  • Pushing forward interaction design patterns that scale across products and platforms.
  • Contributing to evolving our design system to ensure scalability, accessibility, and brand cohesion.

 

Driving Key Initiatives

  • Owning cross-functional initiatives such as accessibility, personalization, or design ops improvements.
  • Advocating for inclusive design and accessibility best practices, setting benchmarks for the team.
  • Introducing innovative methodologies, tools, or frameworks to improve design impact and efficiency.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Acting as a thought partner to product managers and engineers, influencing decisions at the strategic level.
  • Presenting design concepts and rationale to senior stakeholders, building consensus around design direction.
  • Representing the voice of the user in executive and cross-departmental discussions.

 

What is needed to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field; Master’s degree would be a plus.
  • 5–7+ years of experience as a UX designer, with a portfolio demonstrating leadership on complex, high-impact digital products.
  • Expertise in design and prototyping tools (Figma or similar), with strong knowledge of design systems and accessibility standards.
  • Proven track record in conducting and applying user research, usability testing, and data-driven iteration.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to mentor, influence, and inspire designers and cross-functional partners.
  • Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset, passionate about innovation and advancing design practices.
