Senior Specialist, Supply Planning
As Senior Supply Planner, you will play a pivotal role in running and developing Pandora’s point-of-sale materials (POSM) supply chain. You will operate with a high level of ownership and accountability to drive strong planning performance impact across Pandora’s point-of-sale materials (POSM) value chain. You will be responsible to add valuable expert supply planning and logistics knowledge to the POSM Supply Chain team.
The position offers a dynamic mix of day-to-day operations, tactical planning, communication and stakeholder collaboration.
A core responsibility will be to proactively do the planning of our POSM supply from a large network of suppliers and optimize inventory of POSM products across our global Distribution Centers, ensuring high availability to Pandora stores, E-commerce, and partners, while protecting inventory health and minimizing sourcing and freight costs. Your ability to balance availability and cost will be essential to maintaining a resilient and responsive supply setup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ownership of purchase order management, ensuring high product availability and an optimal inventory for all POSM categories in our Americas regional area covering NAM and LATAM clusters.
- Responsible for supplier and forwarder performance, ensuring timely and complete deliveries to support proactive availability planning at DC.
- Drive analysis and mitigating action to ensure availability and service levels across channels.
- Single point of contact for all availability outlooks, critical issues, and recovery plans to senior stakeholders in clusters, DCs, and global functions.
- Ensure strong collaboration with Global Merchandising's demand planning team to align supply plans with sales forecasts and campaign execution.
- Global owner for safety stock parameters and development, ensuring alignment with commercial priorities, seasonality, and product lifecycle stages – a key process and tool to ensure optimized availability with lowest possible inventory.
Key Requirements:
- 5 plus years of experience in Supply Chain
- A relevant university degree within e.g. Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics and Business Management or similar or equivalent experience
- Experience from retail, fashion or FMCG industry is a plus
- Experience from a global organization
- User experience in ERP systems (AX, SAP or similar) is a plus
