Role Purpose
As Payroll Manager, you will ensure top-tier payroll management for Pandora’s Global Office. You’ll be responsible for accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing, while continuously improving systems and processes. You’ll lead initiatives to optimize payroll delivery, define future requirements, and collaborate cross-functionally to align payroll services with Pandora’s strategic goals.
This role includes leading a small payroll team, where you’ll foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and belonging. You’ll be expected to coach and mentor team members, build strong collaboration, and drive continuous improvement by establishing robust processes and maintaining clear oversight.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and develop a small payroll team, promoting a high-performance and inclusive culture.

Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all Pandora employees in Denmark.

Ensure compliance with Danish and international payroll regulations.

Oversee outsourced payroll vendors and manage vendor relationships.

Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, Performance & Reward, Corporate Tax, Internal Audit, and external auditors.

Lead payroll policy development and maintain written guidelines, standards, and procedures.

Optimize payroll systems, including SuccessFactors, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Administer benefit plans in collaboration with HR.

Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll reports.
Candidate Profile
Experience & Qualifications
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in end-to-end payroll processing.

3+ years of leadership experience with proven team management and development skills.

Solid understanding of Danish payroll legislation and employment law.

Experience with outsourced payroll providers and vendor management.

Background in Finance or HR is advantageous.

Relevant academic qualifications.
Skills & Competencies

Proficiency in SuccessFactors and Excel.

Fluent in Danish and English, both written and verbal.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Up-to-date knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance.

Familiarity with Danish accounting principles.
