As a Senior Engineering Manager at Pandora, you will lead a team to manage integrations, ensuring seamless data flow and optimizing processes which enhances operational efficiency. Oversee the adoption of technologies like Kafka and Kong to improve real-time data processing and system performance, driving business agility. You will collaborate with product teams to align technical excellence with business objectives, supporting strategic goals. Furthermore, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives and recruit diverse talent, contributing to innovation and business growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Leadership: Provide leadership to integration teams, setting clear goals and aligning with organizational priorities. Develop and execute a roadmap for integration platforms.
Integration Architecture: Transition from traditional point-to-point integrations to modern, reusable, and resilient architectures. Design scalable solutions to enhance reliability, reduce redundancy, and support future growth.
Operational Excellence: Lead integration teams to ensure efficient and resilient operations. Oversee system integrations, ensuring seamless data flow and consistency. Monitor key metrics to optimize performance, security, and data integrity.
Innovation and Scalability: Identify opportunities for reusable components and patterns to improve efficiency. Stay updated with industry trends to drive innovation and maintain a cutting-edge platform.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to align strategies with business goals. Foster strong stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively about project scopes and challenges.
Project Management: Manage high-quality integration solutions to optimize business processes and ensure timely project delivery.
Stakeholder Management: Align on project scopes, efforts, and timelines. Inform relevant parties of any challenges that may affect other areas.
Vendor Management: Responsibility for overseeing relationships with external vendors and service providers.
Risk Management: Responsibility for identifying and mitigating risks associated with integration projects.
Platform Stewardship: Ensure a secure, scalable, and high-performing integration platform. Proactively identify areas for optimization.
Team Building: Build and manage a high-performing team. Cultivate a collaborative, innovative and learning environment for team members.
Budget Management: Manage the platform budget effectively, prioritizing projects based on business value and impact.

 

Job Requirements:

 

•    Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
•    Proven experience in system integration management.
•    Strong leadership and team management skills.
•    Deep expertise in integration solutions, data management, and modern architectures (e.g., microservices, APIs). Familiarity with relevant tools and technologies.
•    Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
•    Proactive in staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies. 
•    Proven ability to manage multiple projects and budgets effectively. 
•    Ability to oversee relationships with external vendors and service providers. 
•    Effective communication and collaboration skills.
