Senior Director, Infrastructure Services
This is a pivotal senior leadership position accountable for shaping Pandora’s global Infrastructure & Core Services landscape. The Senior Director leads a large, distributed organization of 140+ specialists across Poland, Copenhagen, and the US and plays a central role on the CTO Leadership Team.
We are seeking a leader who can not only run a global infrastructure operation but reinvent it, bringing forward‑thinking, next‑generation infrastructure capabilities to support Pandora’s rapid growth, digital ambitions, and global scale. This includes driving cloud‑first strategies, modernizing legacy platforms, enabling agility, and ensuring world‑class reliability across a complex, mission‑critical IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Pandora’s global Infrastructure & Core Services organization of 140 FTEs across Poland, Copenhagen, and the US, ensuring strong leadership, direction, and delivery across all teams.
- Set the long-term infrastructure vision and strategy, driving next‑generation capabilities across multi‑cloud, network, IAM, and FinOps.
- Ensure 24/7 operational excellence across Pandora’s global infrastructure, balancing stability with transformation.
- Develop and empower senior engineering managers, building a high‑performing, scalable leadership bench.
- Shape the future-state architecture and operating model, accelerating our journey toward a simplified, cloud-forward, automation-driven ecosystem.
- Influence senior business and technology leaders as an integral member of the CTO Leadership Team, championing cloud-first adoption and architectural modernization.
- Drive alignment and collaboration across global stakeholders, ensuring infrastructure strategy supports enterprise-wide priorities.
- Manage key suppliers and strategic partners, ensuring value, performance, and alignment with long-term transformation goals.
Key Requirements
- 10+ years of senior leadership experience in infrastructure services, cloud operations, and large-scale IT environments.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Technology, or a related field.
- A T‑shaped technology leader: able to move seamlessly between strategic vision and operational execution.
- Demonstrated ability to lead transformation, think ahead, and introduce modern, future-ready infrastructure capabilities.
- Inspirational leadership style—comfortable guiding teams through ambiguity, change, and innovation.
- Strong communication, structuring, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex technical direction into actionable business language.
- Proven experience in cloud infrastructure (Azure), complemented by deep understanding of on‑premise environments.
- Exposure to multiple hyperscalers is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of cloud engineering, FinOps, automation, network architecture, and Identity & Access Management.
