We are looking for a Master data Architect specializing in SAP Solutions, to lead, design and develop processes, solutions and capabilities around our master data within Pandora. We are a greenfield implementation leveraging the newest SAP technologies such as SAP S4 HANA on Private Cloud, cloud ALM, BTP as well as Kafka for integration capabilities. We have started building a strong internal team of SAP experts and are continuing to do so. Our scope is truly global, and we cover processes from manufacturing, distribution, retail, to procurement and finance.

SAP4HANA Master Data Advisor to support Pandora’s future MD landscape 

As our new Master Data Advisor you will be playing a significant role in our SAP ERP program architecture, where you will be bringing in your expertise to guide and decide on future master data process and related tech landscape based on Pandora’s direction. You will be working with other senior professionals to define excellent master data processes and solutions in Pandora’s context spanning from product design and manufacturing to our retail and consumer fronting commercial activities. The design of our master data tech landscape will take into account our ambitious data journey with SAP as one of the cornerstones, further roll out our Kafka EDA integrations platform and simplification of master data processes – to mention a few initiatives.  

 

Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • With team design solid master data management strategy, policies and procedures
  • Define Pandora’s master data models, master data architecture, entity-relationships and data dictionaries
  • Design master data repositories, distribution processes and ensure quality and consistency
  • Ensure seamless integration of master data across various systems and platforms
  • Implement data quality measures and validation processes and develop data quality metrics.
  • Ensure master data is secured and compliant with relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Lead the way for Pandora’s future master data framework, challenge the status quo and manage stakeholders on the way.
  • Be part of a larger ERP data team and as one of the senior advisors in the team, bring team onboard our strategic direction
  • Work alongside Data Governance and contribute to it. 
  • Enterprise-wide understanding of Master Data. 
  • Develop Master Data Principles 


What is needed to succeed

  • Significant proven experience working within the field of Master Data, data architecture, data flows, interfaces, database design related to Master data.
  • Knowledge of MDM platform tooling
  • Proven experience from SAP ERP implementations where you have been involved with defining and refining master data models and processes. Preferably S/4 HANA with retail and manufacturing background.
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using Data Quality and statistical Tools for analyzing datasets
  • Have worked with data transformations and/or Information Architecture and knows the challenges
  • Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience from data modelling tools like Erwin
  • Experience from a relevant and complex data rich company, retail experience is an advantage
     

Additional experience is a benefit

  • Knowledge of and experience with Integration Technologies and Interface tools in general, preferably EDA associated such like Kafka, Kong and the native SAP interface toolset (BTP etc)
