About the Team:
Pandora is embarking on an ambitious journey to deliver on our Digital Strategy to become the leading direct-to-consumer brand using digital, while equally employing the happiest, most empowered and technology-enabled colleagues. One of the most central technology components in delivering on these ambitions within our stores is our future global Workforce Management solution ‘Plandora’ based on Ceridian Dayforce. The system will be transforming store employees’ day-to-day ways of working and experience with technology, while driving business growth by ensuring we have the right people in stores at the right time.
As Product Manager, you will be responsible for the product vision, strategy, roadmap, governance and backlog for Plandora. You will act as the connector between functional needs across HR, Retail, Finance and technology to ensure we are always working on the things that create value for the business. For that purpose, you will be responsible for co-creation, prioritization and implementation of user stories that address functional needs, while driving overall end-user experience with the platform. At the same time, you will remain in close and continuous communication with functional stakeholders to ensure understanding and full utilization of technical capabilities.
Helping our technical team to ensure architectural health of Pandora’s Dayforce platform, this role will also entail advisory to business stakeholders on the functional implications of technical design-decisions to promote cross-functional collaboration. You will help to shape the direction and product domain as part of the day-to-day leadership team to ensure Pandora is putting technology at the heart of evolving our business and delivering growth.
About You @Pandora:
You will work very closely with functional stakeholders and the technical team delivering on
- Product Leadership: Keep the Product Strategy and Roadmap in sync with overall business ambitions, while leading the end-to-end rollout of Ceridian Dayforce across the organization, including ensuring we are delivering on our OKR’s.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with HR, Retail and Finance teams to define new features and improvements to prioritize within the backlog.
- Product Backlog Ownership: Lead technical team of Analysts and Engineers within Digital & Technology to implement defined user stories according to prioritization, while collaborating with Technical Leads to ensure technical excellence of the surrounding technology landscape.
- Testing, Training and Change Management: Ensure proper unit testing by technical team and collaborate closely with functional stakeholders to ensure user testing, training and change management to enable smooth rollout of the solution.
- User Experience: Together with our UX Designers, drive end-to-end Colleague Experience in Pandora by identifying desirable services to be offered on Plandora and ensuring a seamless User Experience within and across the platform
- Technical Excellence: Promote DevOps capabilities and mindset in the teams, drive adoption of test automation, CI/CD practices, monitoring and observability.
- Agile Leadership: Be an active member of our Agile Community of Practice and facilitate agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, iteration planning, demos, retrospectives, and work closely together with functional stakeholders on how to refine and prioritize the backlog
What is needed to succeed
- Expertise in Ceridian Dayforce platform or related products from other vendors in the Workforce Management space
- Strong stakeholder management capability to ensure a holistic perspective for product backlog and prioritisation.
- Knowledge of business capabilities, processes and industry mega-trends in the HR and Retail space
- Independent, proactive and structured ways of working combined with strong execution skills to ensure progress and commitment to deadlines.
- Ability to create and clearly communicate the product vision and backlog to both senior stakeholders and team member
- Be a servant leader who can make decisions, prioritize and manage risk but whom always empowers the teams to decide on the “how”.
- Pragmatic in striking balance between short-term gains and long-term strategic ambitions (e.g. technical debt)
- Understand technology trends and is able to activate technical expertise in the organization
- Educational background in Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Administration or similar field
- Experience from retail, fashion or FMCG industry, global organizations and/or consulting
