As part of expanding the Pandora Digital and Technology organization in Copenhagen, we are looking for a Product Manager, Personalisation 


The primary purpose of the role 


As Product Manager for Personalisation, you will work closely with the Personalisation Director and the full Centre of Excellence (CoE) team to deliver on our personalisation ambitions. You will have an important role of representing Digital and Technology (D&T), ensuring all tech enablers and data dependencies are identified and brought to the different workstreams to be able to deliver upon promise.   


All our personalisation initiatives/use-cases are having dependencies across the organization; from Business to MarTech, Digital and Data & Analytics and covering all aspects, including activities in the marketing channels (i.e. testing, scaling, measurement) and delivery of enabling technology solutions. Therefore, there will be a strong focus on managing different types of stakeholders and having the overarching view on how the product strategy for personalisation are affecting the D&T organisation.   


In this role, you will be part of the extended team of Marketing Technology and you will report directly to the Director of MarTech Products. On the day to day basis you will become an integral part of a dynamic, high-performing, cross-functional Personalisation program team, delivering on Pandora’s personalisation ambition, which is one of the most important strategic pillar in our Digital Strategy.   


You will have a strong background working with all aspects of Agile Projects and Programs, and you will pride yourself on your leadership and collaboration abilities, and to work with personalisation CoE to outline the product strategy and roadmap.  


This is a high-performing position where you will draw on your accrued experience from Global IT and Marketing or Data organization(s) and business acumen working aggressively to achieve challenging goals. You are a self-starter who can work in a rapidly changing environment; you embrace ambiguity and demonstrate problem-solving leadership. 


Key Accountabilities: 


  • Work close with Personalisation CoE and identify/understanding the personalisation vision and strategy 

  • In collaboration with Personalisation CoE, plan and build use-case roadmap aligned with what is possible from a tech and data perspective 

  • Identify tech enablers and data dependencies needed to support on the personalisation strategy and outlined use-cases 

  • Own Digital & Tech product teams backlog, creating, updating and prioritizing outlined use-cases to deliver upon promise 

  • Establishing and participate on a clear and effective engagement model between the Digital & Tech teams and Marketing teams, with a goal to break silos and work in a truly cross-functional setup with minimal handovers and maximum value  

  • Work closely with the Lead Solution Architect for Personalisation to understand the tech/data capabilities and the future state of the tech landscape 

  • Proactively manage dependencies between the Perso program and interfacing teams, use your influence and collaboration abilities to get full commitment to delivery from the dependency receiving teams  

  • Work closely with Personalisation Delivery Manager to plan a solid roadmap of tech enablers/dependencies aligned with Personalisation use-case roll-out  

  • Engage with the wider stakeholder groups across the organization and represent D&T in various meetings; such as Interdependency calls and Personalisation SteerCo 

  • Identify and proactively manage risks and understanding where additional focus or attention is required. Ensure these are being flagged to senior leaders and key stakeholders  


What is needed to succeed:    


  • Experienced Product Manager with the ability to work across business and technology and in larger global organisations, with the ability to orchestrate both software development and marketing agile product teams.     

  • Strong communication skills, particularly strong in communication between business and technology teams  

  • Strong leadership and team management skills to build up relationship and drive results 

  • Stakeholder Management – Excellent stake holder management skills and ability to interact at all levels of an organization as well as across all functions. 

  • Ability to coordinate and liaise between a wide variety of stakeholders internally across Pandora and externally towards agencies, identify roadblocks and assist in clearing them.  

  • Experience in a product position with focus on Personalisation in retail/ecommerce

  • Experience presenting in front of large audiences and facilitating meetings with diverse sets of stakeholder  

  • Passionate and energised by navigating in ambiguity
