Product Manager, Data & Analytics
Are you passionate about shaping the future of enterprise analytics? We’re looking for a visionary Product Manager to lead the strategic direction and execution of Athena, our central hub for Data & Analytics (D&A) reports and enterprise analytics products. This role is pivotal in transforming how end-users and business stakeholders interact with, consume, and extract value from high-quality analytical data assets.
As the Product Manager, you’ll be the evangelist and strategist redefining its global vision. Historically positioned as the definitive “one-stop-shop,” Athena now faces exciting challenges and opportunities driven by new technologies and diverse data product types and consumer needs.
Your mission? Craft a clear, forward-looking strategy that ensures a holistic mission for Athena alongside ambitions for data accessibility and data marketplace.
What You’ll Do
Vision & Strategy
-
Define and champion a long-term vision and near-term strategy for Athena, aligned with D&A and broader business goals.
- Collaborate across D&A and business teams to shape the convergence strategy: What content and analytics products should surface via Athena and how the platform evolves with emerging technologies.
Execution & Delivery
-
Map end-to-end user journeys to uncover pain points and opportunities for improvement across technology, UX, and proposition design.
-
Translate strategy into actionable roadmaps, prioritizing features and outcomes.
-
Lead a cross-functional team of UX experts, Backend Engineers, and SharePoint Developers, fostering collaboration and high performance.
Platform Management & Adoption
-
Ensure Athena operates smoothly and scales effectively.
-
Track adoption and usage metrics for all hosted analytics products, providing insights to drive optimization and sunsetting decisions.
-
Partner with internal teams to deliver enablement and training programs for end-users.
Product Enablement
-
Streamline processes for product owners to publish analytics products efficiently.
- Establish best practices and governance for consistent, high-quality offerings.
UX Capability Uplift
-
Build and lead UX capability for D&A and AI, ensuring best practices across products and teams.
What Makes You Successful
-
Product Management Expertise: 5+ years of experience or a strong passion for turning user feedback into actionable strategies and roadmaps.
-
Data & Analytics Knowledge: Solid understanding of enterprise analytics, data platforms, and visualization best practices.
-
Tech Savvy: Familiarity with SharePoint, PowerApps, Power BI/Fabric, Databricks, and modern data architecture.
-
Trend Awareness: Ability to stay ahead of emerging D&A and AI technologies.
-
Leadership & Communication: Exceptional skills to align diverse stakeholders around a shared vision.
-
Hands-On Mentality: Willingness to roll up your sleeves to unblock teams and deliver critical outcomes.
