Global Personalisation Director

In this newly established role Personalisation Director, you will be responsible for building our Personalisation Centre of Excellence in Global Marketing. This team will be fully agile and cover all touchpoints across the customer journey. The team will play a key role in the next phase of the transformation for the company, supporting the VP of Marketing in driving a Consumer Centric culture with Personalisation at the centre.

 

You will be responsible for our Personalisation Strategy with a strong focus on CRM, Digital Marketing, Audience activation and innovation, based on customer insights and aligned with the overall brand strategy and roadmap – including commercial performance of our consumer base across all channels. You will work closely with our Personalisation teams in Digital and Tech to deliver Personalisation in our core markets.

 

Your role:

You will lead the development of the Personalisation Strategy and be the champion of personalisation throughout the business. Key milestones will be within the following areas:

 

  • Champion the personalization vision and strategy throughout the business
  • Set and be responsible for OKRs, journeys and use case roadmap
  • Execute use case testing and support scaling with Head Office units and markets
  • Act as the tech/data business sponsor for personalization
  • Support the VP of Marketing on Personalisation, with customer 360 at the centre
  • Support clusters and HO functions in scaling of personalization use cases, orchestrating relevant cross-functional collaboration
  • Define and implement best practice ways of working (WoW) and facilitate competency development of employees

 

In collaboration with the rest of the Owned Digital & Orchestration team and overall marketing team, the new Director will ensure that the Personalisation approach is aligned with Pandora’s strategy and overall planning in order to secure consistency in brand quality and recognition globally and across channels.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure Pandora provides unique and personalized omni-channel customer experiences and delivers associated incremental revenue and customer experience uplift
  • Lead Personalization Center of Excellence (CoE) responsible for overall personalization efforts at Pandora
  • Define personalization vision, OKRs, customer journeys, and use case roadmap in alignment with senior leaders and executive sponsors
  • Collaborate with in- and external stakeholders along E2E personalization process to test and scale personalization uses cases using agile ways of working
  • Ensure continuous development of processes & capabilities to deliver personalization
  • Manage budget/funding for perso. use cases in alignment with executive sponsors
  • Ensure that current tools and technologies support future use cases and investment thesis as business needs evolve
  • Manage team in Personalization CoE ensuring right professional development
  • Coordinate recruiting, hiring and staffing of talent in delivery teams, with support from Personalization Delivery Manager
  • Working closely with the new Customer Director role ensuring the omnichannel journeys are scaleable
  • Realized sales uplift and customer experience, # executed tests, person. capability score, other KPIs TBD
  • Responsible for sales uplift from personalization tests and adherence to budget set aside for testing

 

Core competencies

  • Strong leadership skills with ability to manage large team and act as “personalization champion” in Pandora
  • Strong communication skills, particularly strong in communication between business and    technology teams
  • Ability to coordinate, influence, and liaise between a wide variety of stakeholders internally across Pandora and externally towards agencies and other providers to clear roadblocks
  • Passionate about innovation and personalization being a source and promotor of new ideas and solutions
  • Highly ambitious and intrinsically motivated with willingness to “go the extra mile”

 

What is needed to succeed

  • At least 8+ years best in class CRM and digital transformation, 5+ years’ experience leading personalization in relevant industries with proven track record of delivering results
  • Significant experience with driving and implementing direct-to-consumer marketing and customer strategy
  • Experience running agile team set ups
  • Understanding of data and MarTech landscape CDP, DAM, SFCC/SRFA, DCF, with ability to
  • Stakeholder Management – Excellent stake holder management skills and ability to interact at all levels of an organization as well as across all functions.
  • Postgraduate diploma in a relevant field (Business Administration, Marketing or Economics)
