Performance & Rewards Director

Develop and implement our strategic direction 
As Director of Performance & Reward, you will take a leadership role in the team that develops and implements the strategic direction on elements of Reward, Pay, Incentives, Benefits, and Recognition as well as own our strategic approach for People Performance.  

 

You will act as the lead for various projects and work closely with our P&R leads in the clusters and the production to ensure effective deployment of all performance and reward policies, and effective representation of local business needs in global policies. 

 

Your work will be ranging from policy work, developing products to implementation, and we expect you partner with stakeholders, as one of two director roles in the global Performance & Reward team. Depending on business priorities, your personal impact and development interests, key accountabilities will include:

 

  • Continuing to evolve Performance & Reward cyclical approach – both for our office population but also our retail and production organisation.
  • Developing a global benefits framework to guide the local benefits offering developed in each location where Pandora operates. 
  • Set the direction and benefit frame for global health & wellbeing initiatives. 
  • Act as SME and global facilitator for best practice for retail sales plans and recognition.
  • Inspiring our talent with pay and incentives that deliver great reward for great performance.
  • Supporting the annual C&B review for geographies supported – including salary budgeting recommendations.
  • Supporting our People Technology team in optimising Success Factors for Performance & Reward.
  • Providing indirect leadership from a Performance & Reward expertise standpoint to the P&R team members in the supported geographies, and the analysts in our People Technology team.

 

Customer oriented team player with strong analytical skills 
As the Director of Performance & Reward, you will be a team player who can work effectively with colleagues and partners at all organisational levels to positively impact performance. You are used to working in a matrix set-up and can get work done via inspiring and influencing others as either project lead or part of a project team.  You are customer oriented, and you know how to establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and gain their trust and respect.  Added to that, you have the ability to influence increasingly complex situations and you recognize changes and act upon them to achieve goals. 

 

We also hope to see that you have and can demonstrate: 

 

  • Minimum 7-10 years’ experience within the field of performance management and benefits, including some exposure to people policy setting in a global context. 
  • A solid understanding of reward. 
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills, both in writing and verbally
  • Experience with people performance management global projects
  • Experience designing and implementing sales incentive plans in a retail setting
  • Experience from global retail
  • Experience as a skilled people leader
  • As we have implemented Successfactors in 2021, experience with running and developing the yearly performance cycle in Successfactors is a plus
