As the Global Office Payroll Manager
You will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing HR processes that are scalable, efficient, and aligned with our global business strategy. You will work closely with HR leaders and cross-functional teams and ensure that our HR & Payroll services are delivered effectively, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

In summary, responsibilities will include:
 

Payroll Processing and Compliance

  • Oversee and manage the preparation and processing of the company's payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
  • Ensure all payroll transactions are processed efficiently, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local payroll, wage and hours laws and best practices to ensure compliance.
  • Perform regular payroll audits to ensure the integrity and accuracy of payroll data.

 

HR and Interdepartmental Collaboration

  • Liaise with HR to ensure accurate and timely processing of new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and proper integration of payroll data.
  • Coordinate with external and internal auditors and provide support during audits by supplying required payroll data and reports.
  • Collaborate with IT department to ensure payroll system security, including data backup and recovery processes.
  • Management and Policy Development
  • Manage and resolve issues relating to payroll production or processing, including answering employee queries regarding payroll matters.
  • Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to improve efficiency and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and supervise the payroll team, providing training and development as needed.

 

Technological and Data Management

  • Oversee the maintenance of current employee data systems, ensuring confidentiality and data protection.
  • Implement and utilize payroll software systems to their fullest potential, recommending upgrades or changes as necessary.
  • Stay informed about technological advancements and software updates related to payroll processing to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Reporting and Documentation
  • Prepare and submit reports with payroll information to senior management.
  • Ensure that all payroll-related documents are accurately maintained and securely stored to comply with legal and company policies.

  • Proficiency in Payroll Software: In-depth knowledge of payroll systems and proficiency in using them for payroll processing and reporting.
  • Understanding of Accounting Principles: Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices related to payroll, including the general ledger, taxations, and deductions.

 

What will make you stand out:
•    Experience of managing the End-to-end payroll process in Denmark. Additional International payroll experience is a plus!
•    A can-do attitude, you are someone who enjoys a fast-changing environment and have experience from project management and/or change management.
•    Demonstrated ability to foster strong collaborative relationships across various departments and teams.
