The Global Media department is looking for a media planning specialist to help us improve our overall media planning, allocation and efficiency within media performance. You will work across regions, markets and agencies to optimize media spend, mix and timing.  Does this sound interesting? Then you could be our new media planning specialist.

 

Job Description:

As media planning specialist you will be part of a three person comms and media planning team ensuring alignment between the general media strategy and the campaign planning. Your role will be having daily dialogue with markets across the world running conversation on market’s media strategy and best practice ensuring optimal performance. Furthermore, another large part of the role, is ensuring global alignment and transparency, meaning interacting with other parts of the global organization.

 

Together with the team, our analytic partners, agencies, media partners and markets you will focus on improving our performance in media looking at the consumer journey in an omnichannel view. Creating guidelines for the optimal channel mix to support both brand and sales metrics.

 

Areas of responsibilities

 

Media Planning

  • You strongly contribute in elevating our media strategy to the next level and ensure alignment on the global media strategy involving the evaluation market media plans
  • You ensure that optimization opportunities, best practices and learnings are shared and communicated across the organization.
  • Create best practice planning guidelines and budget allocation
  • You closely collaborate with internal channel owners on analytical and data-driven challenges and work alongside media agencies to ensure strong synergies between the different channels
  • You oversee media planning in our markets and support together with our agency partners on best practice both on a global and local level.
  • Scenario planning – build business cases for investment for our management board

 

Analyzing media performance

  • You successfully run cross-channel media analysis with external measurement partners and hold a close relationship with them to evaluate our current media setup
  • Liaising with markets and agencies to optimize performance
    • Applying the marketing mix model learnings
  • Together with markets run tests to calibrate the right go to market approach.

 

What is needed to succeed

  • 3+ years of media agency planning function including digital media
  • Digital mentality
  • Experience in media performance
  • Experience with econometric modelling & MTA
  • Preferable experience from a media agency or analytic consultancy
  • It’s a prerequisite that you have at least a Bachelor Degree.
  • You speak and write English fluently and you have worked in an international environment

Additional information:

This role is based in the PANDORA Global Office in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Candidates should be willing to travel approximately 20 days a year.
