Master Data Architect to support Pandora’s future MD landscape 
@Pandora we are growing our Data & Analytics footprint and we have set sails on a number of initiatives which will change our ways of working as well as tech foundation over the coming years.
We will be moving towards data products, federated governance models, clear data ownership - with SAP as a cornerstone for a significant part of our master data.
We are today operating a Boomi Master data hub supporting hosting some of our core master data entities supporting a number of critical business processes such as our click’n’collect solution.

As our new master data architect you will be playing a significant role in our SAP ERP program where you will be bringing in your expertise to guide and decide on future master data process and related tech landscape based on Pandora’s direction. You will be working with other senior professionals to define how master data processes are best managed in a federated governance structure. The design of our master data tech landscape will take into account our ambitious data journey with SAP as one of the cornerstones, further roll out our Kafka EDA integrations platform, simplification of master data processes, decentralization of data ownership – to mention a few initiatives. Also you will be working with our current master data tech team to ensure high efficiency and quality on our current master data hub. 


Further to this you will:
•    As subject master expert support our high profile programs and be part of Pandora’s Architect community
•    Lead the discussion on future MD tech landscape anchored in Pandora’s ambition to support fast decision making through real-time data availability and data ownership at the hands of the people making the decision.
•    Get acquainted with our growing number of data sources, integrations and applications of today
•    Support Boomi as architect and working with our MD DevOps team where necessary
•    Be the team’s technical lighthouse regarding existing and future tools / applications that supports Master Data Management & Master Data Quality
•    Thrive in a fast paced environment and get motivated by challenges as a true problem solver.


Team player passionate about master data and data architecture
Some would say that you are a real team player, product oriented, can-do attitude and with good stakeholder management skills. You are structured and analytical, always aiming to achieve great results. Furthermore, you are a confident communicator and have the ability to explain your solution design and tailor the message according to the audience including senior management.

You’re perfect for this role if you have:
•    Relevant education in within Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Information Management, or Statistics
•    5+ years of experience working within the field of Master Data, data architecture, data flows, interfaces, database design related to Master data
•    Deep knowledge of MDM platform tooling (such like Informatica, Stibo) and knows the opportunities and challenges of a centralized setup
•    Experience from SAP implementations including good understand of SAP ERP data models
•    Thorough experience with a federated model where data producers are responsible for data and where golden record is the way of the past and data might be federated to producer applications
•    Strong knowledge of and experience with Integration Technologies and Interface tools in general
•    Knowledge of statistics and experience using Data Quality and statistical Tools for analyzing datasets
•    Extensive knowledge of how to model data objects in a modernized way through event schemas
•    Have worked with data transformations and/or Information Architecture on a coding level and knows the challenges
•    Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
•    Experience from data modelling tools like Erwin
•    Experience from a relevant and complex data rich company, retail experience is an advantage
•    Highly proficient in English and able to communicate with all levels


It would be a bonus if you have:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Interface Tools (Biztalk, Boomi, Business Objects etc), Master Data HUB, Databases (SQL etc), Kafka/EDA, Programming (XML, Java Script, or ETL frameworks, Services / API’s).


Worked with or taken part of designing integration strategy and frameworks within scope of master data.

 

Your new team:
You will be a key part of the master data organization as well as our ERP program. Our data product teams will naturally also be your stakeholders from where you collect critical insights of current opportunities and challenges. We work in an agile context with quarterly prioritization, bi-weekly sprints and dedicated capacity pr product team.
As we are a growing team, you will have the chance to influence our culture and working tools and work across organization and geography.
