As Marketing Academy Manager, you will be a crucial member of the Strategy and CMO Office team and responsible for setting the direction and leading the end-to-end delivery of our Global Marketing Academy. The Academy launched in 2021, with the aim of providing all of our talented marketers with a platform to grow their skills in an ever-evolving discipline.

 

You will own the strategy, development, and execution of the Academy, ensuring it continues to evolve in line with the latest marketing thinking, capability needs, and business priorities. In addition, you will contribute to broader team initiatives within the Strategy and CMO Office , supporting strategic planning and capability development across the function. You will also have responsibilities in the area of Change Management and Responsible Marketing.


Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Set the strategic direction for the Global Marketing Academy and manage its evolution end-to-end
  • Develop and continuously evolve the learning and skill development program across all relevant marketing areas
  • Integrate core marketing principles and evidence-based frameworks into the curriculum to strengthen strategic marketing capabilities (familiarity with the Laws of Growth and Ehrenberg-Bass thinking is a plus)
  • Roll out and run the day-to-day of the Academy in close collaboration with internal and external partners – defining priorities, calendar, and content
  • Design learning journeys that support marketers across career stages – from onboarding to expert-level development
  • Anticipate learning needs across marketing functions and identify opportunities to address skill gaps
  • Be the go-to reference for marketing capability building across the organization
  • Build strong partnerships with internal subject matter experts and marketing leaders to align learning content with strategic needs
  • Manage external learning providers and partners to ensure high-quality, impactful delivery
  • Promote engagement and high participation in the Academy, and measure its effectiveness and impact
  • Track and report on participation, satisfaction, and learning outcomes, continuously improving the offer based on data and feedback
  • Strengthen onboarding for both local and global new joiners in Marketing
  • Elevate the Global Marketing Academy Summit as a flagship annual event, curating engaging and inspiring learning experiences
  • Increase internal awareness of the Academy through impactful communication across multiple channels
  • Champion and support initiatives that embed Responsible Marketing standards across the organization
  • Lead change management initiatives related to strategic projects that impact organization, processes, and ways of working within the marketing function, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability.
  • Support marketing/growth strategies, conduct benchmark analysis, and prepare communication materials for senior leadership (CMO)


The ideal candidate:
You bring a strong marketing foundation, paired with a passion for learning, development, and building organizational capabilities. You’re a structured thinker, a natural collaborator, and someone who gets energy from turning ideas into action and impact.

 

  • At least 3 years of experience across a range of marketing disciplines or in learning and capability development
  • Experience in building or leading learning programs, academies, or capability initiatives (either in-house or via consultancy)
  • The ability to translate strategic business needs into practical, engaging learning experiences
  • Strong project management skills and a great sense of structure and ownership
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills — both in writing and in person — to engage stakeholders across levels
  • Proven ability to influence without authority and build partnerships across complex organizations
  • Curiosity about how marketing is evolving and a desire to keep others inspired and up to date
  • Broad interest in, and passion for, the fashion and jewelry industry
  • Familiarity with the Laws of Growth and Ehrenberg-Bass principles is a plus
  • Experience with change management, especially in leading strategic projects that impact organization, processes, and ways of working, is a plus.
