Manager, Procurement Transformation
Are you a procurement expert with a passion for transformation? Do you want to join a global team and develop your career with the largest jewellery brand in the world? ... If so, look no further. This could be the job for you!
We are looking for an exceptional Procurement Transformation Manager to join our world class global procurement team in Copenhagen.
To deliver on our PHOENIX strategy and maximize business value, Pandora is implementing a new strategy for Procurement – to transform how Procurement is done from a fragmented setup today into “Buying as One Pandora” towards 2027.
This transformation includes implementing a new operating model for procurement on a global scale including revised governance, org setup and processes.
This role will act as the Procurement PMO for this transformation of Global Procurement and be a close sparring partner to the VP Global Procurement as well as the Global Procurement management team to ensure momentum as we set out to implement the new operating model across the business.
As part of “running the business”, Global Procurement is set to deliver on an already ambitious cost programme target. This role will be instrumental to ensure that we can also deliver on the “changing the business” elements needed, e.g. the new Procurement strategy and operating model as this is a prerequisite to unlock the additional value add to Pandora towards 2027.
Key responsibilities include:
- Transformation Oversight: Lead the PMO for the implementation of Buying as One Pandora, overseeing all key initiatives within the transformation program.
- Procurement Strategy. Support and challenge Category teams with developing, communicating and implementing their respective category strategies in the new governance model with closer alignment to key stakeholders in relevant functions. Leveraging key procurement frameworks such as the Procurement Chessboard and procurement toolbox
- Change management support around new procurement processes & systems. Support the change management with regards to new/updated processes and systems, for example PtP process, contract mgmt. etc.
- Planning & progress monitoring: Break down the overall strategy into a solid plan with well-defined milestones, clear deliverables, and ensure clear ownership. Follow up to ensure deliverables and milestones are met making sure all key stakeholders are aligned on the status
- Problem Solving: Adopt a "Red is good" mindset, focusing on identifying key roadblocks and with collaborating approach to solve roadblocks
- Communication: Ensure ongoing and high-quality communications regarding the transformation to create alignment and excitement.
- Leadership support: Prepare and facilitate key category strategy workshops as well as Procurement leadership workshops where procurement strategy is on the agenda.
- Hands-on. Dive deep into specific deliverables when needed to ensure progress and act as a key sparring partner and support for each member of the Procurement leadership team.
We are looking for a positive, self-driven individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and is determined to achieve outstanding results. We hope to see that you have and can demonstrate:
- Knowledge of Procurement strategy - to be able to support and challenge Category teams with developing, communicating and implementing their respective category strategies in the new governance model with closer alignment to key stakeholders in relevant functions – as this is key part of the transformation
- Knowledge of key Procurement processes as this is at the heart of the change (We are not after a “Generalist” change manager)
- Knowledge of how systems support these processes, e.g. PtP
- Proven experience in leading transformation (or other similar) programs from a PMO & project management perspective.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Solid project management and PMO toolbox.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Process improvement mindset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in procurement is an advantage.
Furthermore, we hope to see that you have:
- 5-8 years of experience in transformation or PMO roles across a large global organization – preferably within Procurement/Operations/Finance
- Alternatively, experience from working as a management consultant withing the field of Procurement, e.g. advising Procurement functions
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
