Manager, Merchandising Commercial Performance
Do you want to play a key role in steering commercial performance for the world’s leading jewellery brand? If yes, we are excited to welcome a new colleague to join Pandora’s Global Merchandising team!
Drive global commercial performance across Merchandising & Supply Chain
The Merchandising Commercial Performance function is a critical driver of Pandora’s financial visibility, trade discipline, and commercial execution. As Manager, Merchandising Commercial Performance, you will own and lead end‑to‑end commercial performance steering — ensuring that sell‑out targets, financial forecasts, and trade decisions are aligned, transparent, and data‑driven.
You will be responsible for top‑down financial forecasting, collection performance tracking, governance of global sell‑out dashboards, and facilitation of key trade performance forums. Acting as the analytical and commercial backbone for Merchandising & Supply Chain, you will translate complex KPIs and financial metrics into clear, actionable recommendations that influence senior leadership decision making.
You will join an ambitious, collaborative, and international team within Global Merchandising & Supply Chain and report directly to the Senior Director, Trade Merchandising. In this role, you will be a central contributor in elevating Pandora’s commercial performance maturity — ensuring that insights, forecasts, and trade decisions consistently support our global revenue and margin ambitions.
Your accountabilities will be to:
• Lead and coordinate Weekly Trade and Post-Mortem performance forums, delivering clear analysis and decision-ready recommendations
• Own and evolve Pandora’s global business performance tracking, including key materials for leadership forums
• Challenge trade and commercial assumptions to sharpen decision making and drive stronger outcomes
• Own and govern the global ATHENA Sell-Out Dashboard, ensuring data accuracy, usability, and continuous enhancement
• Partner closely with Strategy & Intelligence and D&A teams to drive the dashboard roadmap
• Lead monthly top‑down reforecasting for collections and facilitate cross-functional forecasting forums (TM, RGM, MCO)
• Translate global financial targets into actionable trade and buy‑level budgets
• Balance mid‑term financial targets across base and newness, ensuring trade-offs support broader business ambitions
• Act as key LfL performance control mechanism for newness after Gate 1
• Steer annual budget pack distribution across clusters
• Partner closely with Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Commercial Finance to ensure alignment and execution discipline
• Line manage and develop ~2 direct reports, fostering analytical rigor and high performance
Effective contributor in a global commercial performance function
We imagine you bring strong analytical capabilities, commercial acumen, and experience working with financial metrics, sell-out performance, and forecasting. You are structured, curious, and confident in challenging assumptions — turning data into meaningful business impact. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy driving clarity, precision, and alignment across diverse stakeholders.
We hope you bring the following experience and competencies:
• 5–8 years of experience in Commercial Finance, Trade Merchandising, FP&A, Planning, or similar
• 1–2 years of people leadership or team development experience
• Strong experience analysing sell‑out performance, retail KPIs, margin and revenue drivers
• Exposure to forecasting cycles (MFP, collection forecasting, reforecasting)
• Experience with cluster budgets, LfL growth, and financial target tracking
• Ability to translate complex financial data into clear commercial actions
• Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills
• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) and dashboard-driven insights
• Background working cross-functionally with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Finance, and cluster teams
• Understanding of product lifecycle, trade calendars, and promotional performance impacts
• Structured communicator with strong stakeholder management and influence skills
• Experience working in global organizations; retail or consumer goods is an advantage
