Drive Pandora’s strategic initiatives within the Global Marketing Organization

 

As Manager of Strategy and CMO Office, you will partner with the Director, Marketing Strategy and CMO office to support the continued growth of Pandora and drive strategic initiatives. You will be collaborating with the Marketing Lead Team (MLT), and other key stakeholders to coordinate and expedite the completion of major projects and priorities.

 

In this role, you will support the Marketing Strategy and CMO Office Director in creating structure and focus around the CMO office agenda and strategy and based on this, develop recommendations for action. You will be responsible for maintaining an overall timeline of priorities and provide periodic progress updates to the Line Manager, CMO, the MLT and other stakeholders. A key responsibility will be in collaboration with your line manger to proactively flag issues or risk and develop mitigation plans or workarounds with the appropriate teams.

 

You will also lead & support special projects that span across functions within marketing and beyond, including bringing to life the Phoenix strategy and supporting new market openings to ensure the right balance between global strategy and local realities.

 

You will conceive improved ways in which the Marketing organisation can interact to accomplish common business goals and be inspired by the Pandora values. Furthermore, you will be actively involved in the communication within the Marketing organisation and gain commitment from the team to achieve business objectives through clear communication of the CMO’s vision.

 

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating the MLT to ensure meetings are efficient, collaboration is fostered, and organizational priorities are clear. 
  • Project management of strategic projects which are part of the CMO agenda.
  • Collaborating with the Line Manager CMO and the MLT. Ensure adequate planning, resource allocation and risk management is in place over each strategic initiative.
  • Consolidating timelines incorporating objectives to the CMO, highlighting areas with the potential for increased collaboration or possible conflict.
  • Coordinate periodic (quarterly/monthly) tracking and reporting on the progress of current strategic initiatives and other objectives (e.g. Phoenix  quarterly reporting, etc).
  • Developing a point of view for the Marketing organisation on external market trends, competition, and other global influences, e.g., omni capabilities, competitive analysis, the future of marketing, etc.
  • Contributing to initiatives aimed at improving organizational health, such as employee engagement, culture building, training, and development programs.
  • Managing the planning and readiness of the CMO and Marketing teams for key forums, including Executive Leadership Team (e.g. SIR) and Market Visits. Follow-up with other functions (e.g. S&BD, AP, CRO) where needed.

Furthermore, you can demonstrate:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in marketing, preferably within a consumer and/or retail-oriented business, ideally in luxury, fashion or jewelry industry.
  • You have a demonstrated strong project management background that you have proven successfully in the context of complex, cross functional projects for major consumer facing brands.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Ability to work independently and also ollaborate with cross-functional business partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, while also maintaining attention to detail.
  • High level of proficiency in tools like Excel, PowerPoint and other widely used technologies.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbally.
