Your role as Lead Engineer:

 

Lead the design, development and implementation of IBM OMS, IBM Web Store, IBM Web Call center applications.  

 

  • Architect, design and develop IBM OMS, WebStore and Web Callcenter solutions aligning with business needs.

  • Serve as the subject matter expert in IBM Sterling applications, offering solutions for complex business scenarios and guiding engineers.

  • Implement and maintain customizations in alignment with best practices and scalability considerations.

  • Manage configuration data, oversee deployment processes, and ensure system stability and performance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of various business processes.

  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the backend code to ensure optimal system responsiveness.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive JUnit test cases to ensure the reliability and robustness of the IBM Sterling OMS and related applications.

  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and best practices.

  • Help triage and fix high-priority production issues and support the L1 & L2 teams.

  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.

  • Communicate effectively to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions.

  • Collaborate with the QA team to perform thorough testing of developed features.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all development processes, customizations, configurations and integrations.

  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of backend developments into the overall release cycle.

  • Monitor and optimize deployment processes for efficiency and reliability.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the microservice based digital orchestraction layer and headless architecture transition.

 

What is needed:

 

  • 8+ years of development/customization experience with IBM Sterling applications – OMS, WebStore and Web Callcenter.

  • Experience being SME for IBM OMS, webstore and webcall center modules.

  • Experience delivering enterprise solution implementtions.

  • Experience in cloud technologies (Azure/AWS).

  • Exposure to Event driven architecture (kafka).

  • Experience in leading and mentoring technical teams.

  • A good understanding of supply chain concepts and system architecture design.

  • Experience in microservice and headless architecture transition work.

 

Personal experince and Tech skills:

 

 

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, able to work in a dynamic environment.

  • Proficiency in programming language.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Java, J2EE, Javaspring boot, Javascript, Node.js, Angular/React,  Microservices,  Kubernetes, Headless architecture, Cloud technologies,
