Your role as a Lead Cloud Engineer:


As part of expanding the Pandora Digital and Technology organization, we are looking for an experienced Lead Cloud Engineer to be responsible for the tactical implementation and operationalization of the cloud strategy (public, private or hybrid), focusing on S4HANA cloud solution.

You will be responsbile for: 


  • Translate the cloud strategy and architecture into a highly available and secure technical S4HANA implementation in accordance with best practices
  • Implementing SAP solution by integrating (different) cloud services with back-end, traditional data center services
  • Migrating legacy applications to public cloud or hybrid cloud environment in a rehosting (lift and shift) approach or in a refactoring approach for efficiency, agility and disaster recovery
  • Develop and coordinate cloud architecture across a variety of disparate areas within
  • the organization
  • Work with cyber security team to ensure the availability and security of the cloud solution 
  • Collaborating with developers and owing the “Ops” part of DevOps to ensure that cloud-native workloads are deployed according to IT best practices for security, governance, identity and access management, and monitoring
  • Continuously monitor and optimize the cloud implementation for technical and cost efficiencies
  • Continuously support and collaborate with other teams and projects as needed

What is needed to succeed:


  • 5+ years of related experience is required. A BS or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline is required
  • Basic knowledge about SAP cloud solutioning space (e.g. SAP RISE) is a must
  • Solid cloud Networking, Cloud Security and Source code management knowledge
  • Familiar with basic networking concepts of DNS, NTP,DHCP,VLANs, HTTP/HTTPS and IPSec/SSL VPN
  • Relevant Industry certification such on Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS) is big plus
  • Strong understanding of complex business problems to ensure projects are leveraging the appropriate technology and the technical design
  • Able to make sound and far reaching decisions alone on major issues and to take full responsibility for them on a technical basis
  • Bring positive and proactive mindset with an intrinsic motivation. Demonstrate a true team-player that stripes for the accomplishment of common goals
  • Proficient spoken and written command of English; Danish speaking is a plus but not mandatory
