Junior Jewellery Designer (12 Months Maternity Cover)

Are you a passionate jewellery designer with strong design skills, a creative mindset and a passion for learning? Do you enjoy working with an international team of like-minded people designing beautiful and culturally relevant jewels for one of the biggest players in the jewellery field? Then you might be the Junior Designer we are looking for.

Lead projects to create innovative and beautiful products within the Pandora brand
As our new Junior Jewellery Designer you will work closely with the Design Director and the Design team in taking creative projects from the generation of concepts to designs, utilizing strong creative skills, technical knowledge and a thorough understanding of the brand DNA.

Your role:

• Work closely with Design Director and Design team on all matters relating to collections
• Manage individual projects from initial research to drawing to correction of cad and physical samples
• Propose ideas which are original and aligned with the brand
• Ensure projects are developed and launched within deadlines and to price target
• Develop creative and technical sketches
• Explore new materials and techniques for Pandora
• Support the Creative Vision through researches and moodboards

Natural talent for drawing and a passion for jewellery
You might be the person we are looking for if you have a strong creative mindset, have experience in translating your ideas visually though drawing and have the technical knowledge to bring those ideas to life.  You have excellent communication skills, work well in an international team environment, love learning and enjoy new challenges.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree or similar in Design

• A strong creative background
• An available portfolio that clearly demonstrates your skills and thought processes showcasing moodboards and designs
• Proficiency in hand drawing and/or a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
