Global Personalisation Lead

In this newly established role Personalisation Lead, you will be responsible for leading the agile team within our new Personalisation Centre of Excellence in Global Marketing. This team will work as a fully self-serving pod and cover all touchpoints across the customer journey. The team will play a key role in the next phase of the transformation for the company, supporting the VP of Marketing in driving a Consumer Centric culture with Personalisation at the centre.

 

You will be responsible for delivering on our Personalisation Strategy with a strong focus on CRM, Digital Marketing, Audience activation and innovation, based on customer insights and aligned with the overall brand strategy and roadmap – including commercial performance of our consumer base across all channels. You will work closely with our Personalisation teams in Digital and Tech to deliver Personalisation in our core markets.

 

Your role:

You will lead the use case testing at Pandora with Personalization CoE delivery team, always-on content / dynamic content team, and Digital & Technology team(s). Ensure prioritized use cases provide unique and personalized omni-channel customer experiences and delivers associated incremental revenue and customer experience uplift:

 

In collaboration with the rest of the Owned Digital & Orchestration team and overall marketing team, the new Perso Lead will ensure that the Personalisation approach is aligned with Pandora’s strategy and overall planning in order to secure consistency in brand quality and recognition globally and across channels.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage agile use case delivery team in Personalization CoE in testing of use cases on daily basis ensuring right prioritization of resources and competencies
  • Ensure execution of use case tests on time, in right quality, and within agreed scope and budget
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with rest of personalization core team (always-on /dynamic content team and Digital & Technology product teams(s)) and extended teams from global channels* and clusters
  • Communicate with key internal and external stakeholders across E2E personalization process collecting and sharing feedback
  • Ensure continuous improvement of E2E use case testing process
  • Ensure right measurement and reporting of use case test results enabling clusters to prioritize use cases for scaling 
  • Responsible for sales uplift from personalization tests and adherence to budget set aside for testing
  • Realized sales uplift and customer experience, # executed tests, person. capability score, other KPIs TBD

 

Core competencies:

  • Strong management skills with ability to lead agile use case delivery team on daily basis
  • Good people skills being able to provide adequate and timely feedback to delivery team members
  • Strong communication skills, particularly strong in communication between business and technology teams
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to liaise between HO units such as channel teams and clusters in marketing activation
  • Passionate about innovation and personalization being a source and promotor of new ideas and solutions
  • Pragmatic doer finding joy in turning strategy into hands-on execution

 

Key requirements for this role:

  • Previous experience of a Lead Product Owner Marketing, responsible for customer retention and onboarding and or Lead Customer Developer at a Marketing Agency looking to move to Client side.
  • 8+ years’ experience in CRM with 3+ years’ experience managing agile user case delivery teams
  • Experience with data-driven marketing and how to turn vision, customer journeys and use case roadmap into tangible use case tests
  • Strong understanding of E2E personalization process including analytics, CRM/audiences, content creation, and measurement and reporting
  • Extensive knowledge about data and MarTech landscape with ability to articulate requirements towards internal and external stakeholders
  • Skilled in preparing executive presentation material
  • BA in Marketing/Business or Economics

Soft Skills are a must for this job, you’ll need to be at ease working with creative, business architects and data driven people.  In addition to that:

  • Strong management skills with the ability to manage large team and act as “personalization champion” in Pandora
  • Strong communication skills, particularly strong in communication between business and technology teams
  • Ability to coordinate and liaise between a wide variety of stakeholders internally across Pandora and externally towards agencies identify roadbloacks and assist in clearing them.
  • Passionate about innovation and personalization being a source and promotor of new ideas and solutions
