GBU Strategy Director

Would you like to work directly with the GBU SVP in coordinating, formulating and implementing Pandora’s Global Business Unit Strategy, providing strategic recommendations, supported by fact-based analyses and strong business acumen?


This role will govern the initiative portfolio, facilitating executive prioritization, and ensure key projects are delivered. Key accountabilities:


Coordinate the GBU strategy & planning

  • Lead the ongoing refinement and implementation of the global business unit strategy (include but not limited to collection portfolio strategy, yearly trading line up sufficiency and operationalization, 3-year initiative masterplan)
  • Monitor and report the performance monthly, and support the quarterly performance review for the executive leadership team
  • Run analyses, answer strategic questions, and provide recommendations to the SVP GBU (include but not limited to consumer understanding, gaps and opportunities)
  • Consolidate and coordinate the plans of the different GBU collections teams
  • Act as the key GBU stakeholder of the GTM organization


Project Management

  • Provide support on projects as needed, with a specific focus on planning and executing a smooth implementation. (e.g. strategic growth meetings)
  • Facilitate delivery of GBU objectives and ensure that the interfaces between teams are effective and efficient.


What is needed to succeed:

  • At least 5+ years’ experience in business strategy and/or transformation and/or business development
  • A proven ability to serve as a strategic business partner to leadership
  • Ability to think and act in structured and precise manner with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to anticipate, challenge and make decisions based on the business needs of Pandora while also being able to challenge the “as-is”
  • Professional credibility and accountability to command respect and engender confidence across the organization
  • Experience, and passion for, marketing/product/brand management projects is a plus
