Your role 

In this newly established role, you will be responsible for delivering a strong growth masterplan for the collaboration collections, with a focus on brand building and innovation, based on clear customer insights and aligned with the overall category strategy and roadmap. You will also look into existing collaborations and identify opportunities in trends and sociocultural movements and translate them into concrete actions plans and collaborations projects, ensuring that the brand is positioned at the center of cultural relevance.

 

Key responsibilities:
Reporting to the Brand Director and in collaboration with the rest of the GBU team and the overall marketing team, the Brand Manager will ensure that the brand approach is aligned with Pandora’s strategy and overall planning in order to secure consistency in brand quality and recognition globally and across channels. The key areas of responsibility will be:

 

  • To help set the direction for the designated part of the product portfolio within the Collaborations category, including source of volumes, size of prize of potential opportunities, pricing, distribution strategy, and conceptualization of innovation pipeline.
  • To monitor the global performance of the product portfolio, taking corrective actions for short/medium and long term improvements.
  • Work directly with partners and licenses to understand and leverage their brand objectives as week as Pandora’s
  • To gather insights from countries, merchandising and consumer/competitive research and combine it with a natural sensibility towards trends, culture and sociocultural movements, to brief the product design team and brand communications team on new product development and 360 degree marketing campaigns.
  • To utilize your demonstrated network and interest within culture, fashion, design, art and agency industries to generate ideas for the brand, and transfer them to concrete product development and GTM growth strategies.
  • To create concepts for the innovation pipeline and overseeing the creative execution of these concepts.
  • To coordinate internally with other departments to implement the concepts of all relevant channels.

 

Requirements:

We are looking for a team player with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and inspire internal and external stakeholders towards a new vision and strategy. You have a marketing background and experience from global environments within the fashion, beauty, retail or design industries. Experience from HQ-based roles is an advantage. Furthermore, we hope you have and can demonstrate the following:

 

  • A master’s degree within Business Administration, Marketing or Economics.
  • 6+ years of marketing experience in similar roles, managing a brand or product category.
  • Brand and Marketing Toolbox - passionate brand marketeer with a solid marketing toolbox and a strong focus on brand building, transformation and innovation
  • Business Acumen – commercially-minded with a deep understanding of the market. Ability to manage and strengthen a product portfolio as well as to carry on and develop the strong existing partnerships and collaborations.
  • Super user of PowerPoint, Keynote and other presentation formats.
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English, other languages are a bonus.
