Play an active role in driving the strategy and unlock new business opportunities at Pandora
The Global Business Unit team is run out of our headquarters in Copenhagen and is part of the Global Business Units which sits within Pandora Global Marketing. It is an agile team with an ambitious agenda that plays a key role in the company’s growth strategy. The team is responsible for the product and communication strategy at Pandora, all rooted in deep consumer understanding. 

 

As Innovation Brand Director in the GBU team, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute and accelerate the growth of the entire Pandora business. Reporting to the GBU VP – Innovation, Services and Modern Classics collections you will be leading the holistic innovation strategy and plans, building the future of Pandora’s next initiatives and ensuring we continue the great growth journey. Furthermore, you will ensure delivery by working with a global cross-functional team of external and internal experts and stakeholders, curiously testing boundaries and firmly reaching the goals and getting things done.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of the mid & long-term Innovation strategy and roadmap including strategic planning and scenario evaluation, as well as sizing the pipeline to inform the roadmap
  • Ensure feasibility of the innovation pipeline by validating the support model and developing & piloting the new ideas
  • Champion consumer insights and market research to ensure consumer centricity of the innovation roadmap
  • Identify market trends and opportunities and stay up to date with the industry & outside industry practices to inform the innovation strategy & roadmap
  • Drive the innovation agenda with the cross-functional team, ensuring excellence throughout the organization. Collaborate with our Crafting & Supply, Design Development, Product, Finance, Consumer Insights, E2E process management and across the Marketing organization. 
  • Lead the Brand Managers team & coach for professional and career development 
  • Lead the communication of innovation performance, while identifying improvements and providing recommendations.
  • Budget and resources management to achieve the innovation goals


Professional competencies:
We are looking for a strong talent with a brand innovation track record, a solid analytical foundation and a genuine passion for consumers who thrives in a dynamic, changing, and fast-paced environment. More specifically, you come with:

  • Product innovation mastery – minimum 10-12 years of best-in-class experience in innovation & marketing (Global or Regional in FMCG or fashion/jewellery/watches industries), leading consumer insights work and product innovation development. Services innovation experience in addition to product, is a plus.
  • Consumer-centricity – proven track record of driving consumer centric initiatives 
  • Strong analytical foundation based on quantitative and qualitative skills, incl. confidence working with data analysis and corroborate commercial/consumer/competitive insights to drive the strategy
  • Strategic and conceptual thinking – proven track record of product strategy development and conceptualization
  • Team leadership experience – proven track record of effectively leading and developing teams
  • Experience in working with senior leaders and stakeholders in driving a business agenda
  • International Experience – experience from regional or global environments 
  • Postgraduate diploma in a relevant field (Business Administration, Marketing or Economics)

  • Outstanding English written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to develop clear, insightful presentations and recommendations.
  • Knowledge of MS office with proficiency in Excel; Outlook; PowerPoint

The role is in Pandora Global Office in Copenhagen, Denmark.
