As part of expanding the Pandora Digital and Technology organization in Copenhagen, we are looking for a MarTech Web Anlayst who can help Pandora through the process, from articulating demand to implementing changes.   

 

Job description and areas of responsibility    

As a MarTech functional analyst, you will be an expert in and understand the key drivers and complexities of driving technology innovation and capability building in an extremely competitive market. You will collaborate with dynamic functional teams of Product Managers, Delivery Managers, Engineers, Solution Architects and business stakeholders within Marketing initiatives.

You will have the opportunity to shape innovative offerings via new technology development and make leap-frog improvements to existing offerings. You accomplish this via direct hands-on ownership.

 

Your primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Perform in-depth analysis by collecting and analyzing data from website traffic, page views, and site visit duration
  • Provide analysis and scoping regarding the best practices in digital analytics as it relates to tag management (tools such as Google Tag Manager, Tealium, and more)
  • Translate & communicate insights and provide marketing solutions to leadership
  • Stay up-to-date with industry and technology trends in online marketing and tracking
  • Perform problem analysis to resolve system or application issues
  • Collaborate closely and form strong partnerships with business stakeholders, to understand their needs and deliver high quality, fit-for-purpose solutions
  • Develop and implement an innovation culture in close collaboration with the Product Managers
  • Analyze, design and document the as-is and to-be processes, performing gap analysis and identifying areas for improvement, including assessing & communicating the impact of the proposed solutions on the organization.
  • Create user stories and features based on business requirements
  • Manage all aspects of the application lifecycle and keep all stakeholders updated

 

 

You will bring to the role: 

  • A Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • 2 years of experience with tag management systems and web analytics tools. You can exemplify a strong grasp on how to implement, maintain, and use tag management systems and web analytics tools.
  • You are familiar with, or willing to learn more about, privacy and data protection laws and regulations. Additionally, you are familiar with how to apply data governance for the needs of large, multi-brand sites
  • You have experience working with clients and exemplifying great communication and report with clients to ensure satisfaction, understanding, and collaboration
  • You understand the technical requirement documents from various solution providers and scope the work accordingly for product team
  • You are a self-starter and can work with a high degree of uncertainty
  • Detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive
  • The ability to link business needs with technology, process, and people
  • Strong technical understanding and ability to translate this back to business
  • The ability to work independently, and in a team as needed
  • You are organized, with strong time-management skills
  • Experience with agile ways-of-working
  • Solid project/release management skills, preferred with some experience in Agile development
  • Experience working in a global organization, preferably a retailer and/or e-commerce company
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

 

 

Preferred, but not required:

  • Hands on platform experience across several MarTech systems

Our MarTech Product team consists of four Product Managers who manage business engagement, and eleven Business Analysts, who manage the technology co-creation with the business. You will report to one of the Product Managers and work in an agile environment together with a Product Manager and technical colleagues assigned to the stream.

 

What is needed to succeed

You must be fluent in digital, have a university degree within a relevant field, and both a passion for, and work experience within MarTech. You probably have also worked within a global organization, having taken on responsibility for leading a project workstream.

  

Further to this, you will: 

  • Decompose strategies and roadmaps from core stakeholders and translate into user stories and consumer journeys to support evaluation of technology and budgets.
  • Create tangible functional and non-functional requirements that can be translated into deliveries to be consumed by both development and business teams.
  • Help align product backlog with the required business value and work with relevant stakeholders to achieve correct prioritization with other projects.
  • Develop and maintain a structured approach to using workflows, diagrams, consumer journeys and user stories for making objectives tangible and easy to discuss for different stakeholders.
  • Identify incoming challenges, create business related solutions for decision makers and assist in solving the challenges.
  • Be the liaison between business users and engineering where needed and work to bring common understanding between both teams.
  • Support building new business cases on incoming ideas and projects in collaboration with business and Stream leads.
  • Support with status reporting on progress across the value stream and on your own dedicated projects.
  • Support and collaborate with business users and engineering on test cases and pre-UAT testing.
  • Contribute to the hand-over to business and assist with continuous adoption.

 

Something about you  

You might be the person we are looking for if you are passionate and customer-oriented, approaching all business processes from the customer’s perspective. You are both structured and analytical, with sufficient technical knowhow to translate business ideas to technical requirements. Communication is your forte, and you easily relate to others, both technical specialists and non-technical stakeholders.
