Deliver cutting edge financial business partnering solutions

To ensure maximum impact of our annual >DKK 4B in spend in Global functions and Digital and technology investments, including investments in AI, and drive P&L and Capital spend management.   We are looking for a finance professional who can work with business partners and provide financial transparency to the activities and projects in the area. You will be a key co-pilot to the business, guiding on D&T and other strategies, as these become increasingly important to Pandora’s growth strategy. You will drive a very capable team to deliver cutting edge financial business partnering solutions, and we need your expertise to drive the agenda towards your colleagues in the Global functions and D&T.

 

The Finance Director, Digital & Technology is a trusted business partner to Pandora’s Chief Digital and Technology officer and their leadership team.  The role also works very closely, partnering with the SVP Business Transformation (with ERP implementation a key program), hereunder having a strong ownership in the financial planning & management of the transformational programs.

 

As the Finance Director, Global Functions, you will lead a team of business partners responsible for the actual reporting and planning agenda for our global functions, providing timely and accurate monthly reporting and acting as trusted partners facilitating decision-making by providing actionable insights, reports and recommendations.

 

The team also plays a vital role in leading the financial management of the global office, actively partnering with the business to manage the P&L and playing a key role in embedding a strong cost mindset. The Global Function Finance team collaborates closely with Commercial Finance and Group FP&A, ensuring a well-orchestrated planning process across functions, ensuring transparency and close alignment on financial targets and working side-by-side to build, challenge and review business cases for our strategic initiatives.

 

You will collaborate with senior finance and business stakeholders across the company, ensuring strong and efficient reporting and planning processes for Global Office.

 

This is a high pace role with considerable senior stakeholder visibility. There will be ample opportunity to define and develop the role. It reports into the SVP, Corporate Finance.  Direct leadership responsibility includes 6 direct reports, and total team size is around 10 people.

 

We are looking for a person who brings a strong business partnering toolbox, being passionate about value creation and has a relentless mindset of constantly improving and streamlining, both from a process and technology perspective ensuring we have an accurate, streamlined and agile processes.  

 

 

Further, you will:

 

  • Continue to develop and streamline reporting to key stakeholders, including SVP Corporate Finance & CFO, providing actionable insights based relevant analysis including risk and opportunity assessments.
  • Orchestrate Long-Range Planning and budget processes across Global Function CxO areas
  • Ensure strong finance business partnering for our Global Office Functional leadership teams, supporting but also challenging them in how we deliver outcome & value
  • Drive process and tooling improvements to enable efficiencies in areas such as Month-End Close, forecast updates, Target Setting and ongoing reporting. 
  • Leading the Global Functions Finance team: Ensuring high performance through strong leadership, and professional development, whilst fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability
  • Stakeholder management - building Strategic Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal key stakeholders.
