The Role 

This role is a strategic member of the tech strategy & architecture organization that establishes enterprise-wide architecture principles, architecture patterns, enterprise architecture framework, business architecture including value streams, business capabilities and functional domains. This role will also be a key player in defining architecture review process and enterprise-wide topics like data & integration reference architecture. This role will be crucial in facilitating strategic & tactical technology decisions and resolves conflicts on architecture related matters across pandora organization domains on common foundational topics: data exchange eco systems, data movements, hosting strategy etc. You will also be responsible for driving next generation architecture for Pandora, and its linking with new corporate strategy. As an enterprise architect, you will partner closely with other architects from all domains, solutions architects &  lead engineers from domains, D&T executives, and product management across the domain to solve complex problems and deliver mission critical services that work at scale across the globe.  

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and maintain AS-IS view, in transit view and target enterprise architecture view for full pandora digital & tech landscape, which includes business architecture, data architecture. Tech architecture and application architecture holistic view, with partnering up with enterprise architects of domains 

  • Play a critical role to be glue between engineering and business & senior stakeholders, and interface both sides. 

  • Design enterprise architecture review process and tools for faster architecture reviews for different transformations. 

  • Participate in discovery phase of big size transformation programs along with portfolio management team to help in identifying dependencies in domains 

  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive an architecture decision, to critical problem statements, facilitate consensus building among engineers, product managers and architects from all domains  

  • Be a key driver in L1 governance forum, and facilitate L0 topics concerning tech foundation domain 

  • This role will be part of tech strategy & architecture leadership team, and will also engage proactively with tech foundation sr directors & directors, to connect strategic ambitions with tech ambitions 

  • Serve as a thought leader in adopting new technologies and frameworks, conducting research, and evaluating emerging trends to keep our architecture future ready. 

  • Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team. 

  • Contribute to open source, community projects and engineering standards. 

 

What You’ll Bring 

  • Proven experience as an enterprise architect or in a similar leadership role within enterprise architecture, preferably in a large-scale retail or related industry  

  • Proficiency in modern architectural patterns related with application development, engineering practises, integrations, data & hosting 

  • Excellent structuring skills and presentation skills, to translate complex digital eco system into audience-friendly format 

  • Excellent communication skills to present topics depending on audience, to land the message effectively  

  • Proficiency in architecture framework (TOGAF, IAF) 

  • Proficiency in business architecture, data architecture, applications architecture and technology architecture 

  • Excellent knowledge of software engineering best practices, including agile and DevOps methodologies. 

  • Experience of working with major Public Cloud Providers like Azure, including using Infrastructure-as-Code 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions. 

  • Effective communication and leadership skills, with experience managing teams in dynamic environments. 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 

  • 10+ Experience with Salesforce, SAP, Databricks, Microsoft eco systems
