As part of the Digital Development team, you will ensure that we deliver on our strategic ambition to be industry leaders in digital, owning and delivering our digital product and technology vision, strategy, and roadmap. You will report to the Director of Digital Engineering, and join a team who work closely together, help each other out and offer the flexibility and freedom needed to focus on solving customers’ problems.


As a SFCC Lead Backend Developer you will develop Digital Consumer experiences based on a foundation of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) SFRA platform. You will focus to understand business requirements in the format of specifications or user stories and review and validate them for development purposes and interact with tech lead and clients to create, discuss and understand end-to-end specifications for eCommerce solutions and articulate business needs in terms of SFCC Business Manager Configuration.


About You @Pandora:
You will be adhering to policies, guidelines, and procedures of Pandora while development is carried out. Additionally, you will be responsible for:

  • unit testing of the application and documentation
  • integrate various third-party cartridges like Adyen, PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay, PIM, DAM, OSM with the Salesforce Commerce Cloud eCommerce sites
  • provide inputs and direction to associates on the team for design and implementation
  • ensuring services are delivered as per SLAs
  • writing application code that meets or exceeds the defined quality standards
  • accountability for development tasks assigned
  • diagnose and solve technical issues related to e-commerce and Salesforce Commerce Cloud implementation
  • working with third parties for various integration cartridge integrations
  • working closely with the Merchandise, Product and local eCom teams


What is needed to succeed:


  • 4+ years of working experience in SFCC/Demandware SFRA development, maintenance, or support projects
  • knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle Management and product development methodologies.
  • good understanding of the SFCC platform and SFRA, Headless Solutions
  • good understanding of coding best practices
  • a better understanding of Business Manager features and configurations, Jobs, Services
  • working knowledge on multiple third-party integrations
  • experience in JavaScript, Restful API architectures, Payment gateways, Unit Testing;
  • experience working on cache strategies, performance tuning, building cartridges for 3rd Party integrations;
  • active Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer certification will be a big plus;
  • React knowledge and experience with PWA Kit will be considered a big plus;
  • experience with other SF Clouds will be a big plus.
