Director of Product Management, Core Tech

This role supports PANDORA’s strategic aspiration to be the leading direct-to-consumer brand using digital to create intimacy at scale for our consumers & shoppers. The Director of Product Platform & IT Services is responsible for supporting Pandora’s enterprise platform technologies, ERP and IT services. This leader will build a product management organization for the core technology unit, leading its transformation into an agile product lead unit. This is an exciting role that has a huge impact and critical role in achieving Pandora’s growth ambitions of doubling the size of the business. It will drive various mission critical platforms and services, including a global ERP implementation, creating a digital foundation for growth and customer engagement. The total investment portfolio under this leader exceeds over $600 million DKK annually.

 

As the Director of Product Management Core Tech, you will partner closely with senior and executive leaders across the company to deliver end-to-end product management process from strategy creation, product planning , build, launch and optimisation. As a leader and people manager, you will build and support a high performance team and help them deliver results through coaching and inspiring leadership that builds trust, engagement and belonging.

 

Your key accountabilities will include: 

 

  • Build and lead a team of high performance product managers that embodies our core values and delivers world class product management
  • Drive the digital product innovation and design process by working backwards from the customer and serving as their voice
  • Drive the analysis and application of data in the product development process. Foster and evangelize data-driven approaches to managing platform services at core tech
  • Synthesize and drive product strategy and vision using input from stakeholders and analytics from various sources.
  • Develop the product roadmap, KPI’s and prioritization of goals to create a world-class digital experience for our customers and stake holders
  • Lead the agile transformation of the Core Technology unit into a product lead data driven unit 
  • Build strong working relationships across multiple business and tech teams to collaborate and ensure alignment on priorities and goals.
  • Work with Product Managers on establishing company and unit OKR’s to measure outcomes from investments

 

What is needed to succeed:  

 

  • Proven track record and expertise in working with engineering, product design, and cross-functional partners to build products.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in the full lifecycle of product management: product vision and roadmaps, writing exceptional PRDs and releasing high-visibility and complex products globally with high impact.
  • Natural problem-solver, with a strong history of driving product discovery, solving meaningful customer and business problems, and delivering scalable solutions
  • Ability to translate your product plans for any audience, through well-crafted strategic documents, thorough requirements, and clear communication with stakeholders
  • Good knowledge of processes like Source to Pay, Order to Cash and Record to Report and technologies
  • Expert problem-solving, listening, written and verbal communication, and decision-making skills
  • Effective influencer and ability to work with large cross-functional teams to manage, support and solve problems
  • Being comfortable working with short lead-time, change management and highly volatile environment
  • Passion for continuous learning, evangelizing product management and be a promoter of best practices within the team and company
