Director of Global Reward

We are looking for a highly experienced Director of Global Reward with a focus on Global Compensation to help shape and build our compensation agenda in close collaboration with our local clusters around the world. The Role
You will join a team that interacts with all parts of the organization, and you will communicate with the global organisation and local teams as well as senior leaders in order to build, explain, implement and continue to improve our global compensation approach. You will be part of a small Reward and Performance leadership team, and you will ensure that we are offering a competitive, fair and performance-driven compensation package to all our employees globally.
You will be responsible for the design and ongoing evaluation of Pandora’s Global Compensation program (Salary, short term incentives, sales incentives) for all levels, including Executives, and all parts of the world. You will need to ensure that compensation programs support our business objectives and meet legal requirements.
We will ask you to be, or help you develop into, the person responsible for supporting other areas of Reward such as the development and management of our executive compensation program. You will work closely with your team and the VP of P&R to support the RemCo activities and reporting obligations.
To aid in supporting the best possible employee experience, you will own and ensure that when it comes to pay, all our employees know what they need to know and understand their total compensation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Compensation team and provide strategic direction to the development of total compensation including base, short term and long term incentives to ensure competitiveness and align to our strategic objectives
- Develop and maintain job levelling, evaluation methods and compensation structures
- Provide expert advice to the business and HR to ensure decisions are in line with the Reward strategy of the company.
- Develop and maintain relevant policies and ensure compliance to regulation
- Oversee and manage vendor relationships
- Source market insights and develop effective data analytics to support Compensation strategy and decisions
- Partner with the Employee Services team on using our HRIS system to best support the maintenance of our Compensation and Reward data and implementation
- Deliver in collaboration with the Director of Global Performance the annual Performance & Reward cycle, for performance review, annual salary review and STIP payout in SuccessFactors
- Executive Compensation (including Equity)
- Responsible for executive reward, including supervise the production of Remuneration Committee support materials and the Annual Remuneration Report
- Oversee the administration and compliance of the LTIP
- Executive HR Support
- Ensure team provides oversight of contracts and terms for Vice President (VP) and above globally
- Designated total compensation partner at VP and above for the HR teams globally in partnership with cluster Performance & Reward Cluster leads
As Director of Global Reward you will indirectly support key group financial objectives such as Growth and Profit. The key stakeholders for this role are the Global HR Leadership Team and Group Finance from Pandora, as well as external salary survey providers to Pandora such as Mercer and Willis Towers Watson.

As the Director of Global Reward, you are a team player who can work effectively with colleagues and partners at all organisational levels, and you utilize your strong stakeholder management skills to be an inspirational strategic advisor within Compensation across our global business. You are customer oriented and are able to establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and gain their trust and respect. Added to that, you have the ability to influence increasingly complex situations and you recognize changes and act upon them to achieve goals.
We also hope to see that you have and can demonstrate:
- Minimum 10 years’ extensive experience within the field Compensation including some years in a global, strategic and transformative role
- Proven track record in recommending and implementing Compensation solutions in strong partnership with business leaders and partners.
- Ability to interpret complex and large quantity of data
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills, both in writing and verbally
- Experience as a skilled people leader
