We are looking for our new Director of FP&A, Reporting & Analytics

The purpose of the Group FP&A (FP&A) function is to own the reporting agenda and provide strategic insights on the financial performance of Pandora globally. FP&A plays a vital role in defining and enforcing the global performance management framework across Global Finance - including being the driver of short and long-term forecasting. FP&A is responsible for management reporting towards the Executive Leadership Team and collaborates with Investor Relations on supporting the dialogue with capital markets. FP&A works closely with Group Commercial Finance, other HQ Business Finance functions and Key Market FDs.

You will take strong personal ownership in driving strategic actionable insights and continuing Pandoras digital reporting transformation journey together with our Data & Analytics function. As Pandora grows, we have a clear need to deepen financial insights and stay on the forefront of the digital reporting landscape.

 

As Director of FP&A, Reporting & Analytics you will collaborate with senior finance and business stakeholders to define what information and insights are needed to maximize value output and increase transparency across the area. This includes evolving and executing on our digital reporting strategy and taking a leading role in shaping the reporting landscape post our current SAP-implementation. In addition, you will be responsible for building and governing management reporting - standard as well as ad hoc analytical insights - for the CFO and Executive Leadership Team.

 

Further, you will:

  • Drive qualified decision-making by providing valuable insights, reports, analysis recommendations regarding Pandora’s financial performance
  • Drive global standardization and efficiencies for Pandora in the digital reporting area 
  • Deliver analytical power to drive performance deep-dives on an ad-hoc basis
  • Work closely with Investor Relations on Company Announcements and developing background material to support Capital Markets communication 
  • Be on the forefront of Pandoras development to strengthen FP&A performance towards serving stakeholder needs including CEO & CFO
  • Define, execute, and implement Group FP&A and Finance BI projects across Global Finance in close partnership with relevant stakeholders (Global Commercial Finance, Key Markets and Data & Analytics)
  • Own and develop the monthly financial data book as the basis for Pandoras global reporting
  • Leading the team and ensuring adequate staffing/resources, by building solid succession planning and talent pipeline, providing ongoing coaching to strengthen the team’s performance, and supporting the members to achieve their career development goals

 

Some international travelling is to be expected.

 


What we hope to see in your profile

In addition, we hope to see:

  • Experience from similar Director role(s) and responsibility in a global organization
  • Some years of experience leading and developing a high performing team
  • Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills 
  • Experience from working with Business Intelligence and in developing Finance BI tools
  • High energy and willingness to drive a global agenda 
  • Preferably experience from a company owning the full value chain
  • Experience from branded consumer goods, retail, fashion or FMCG industry is an advantage, but not a must
  • Strong and effective communication in English, both verbally and written 

 

Talent development and succession planning is a big priority in Pandora. The clear succession track for this role, is to take on a bigger role in FP&A, Commercial Finance or in a Key Market.
