Director, Supply Chain Excellence

At the heart of our HERO programme lies the implementation of O9, transforming supply chain planning across the value chain. This role will play a pivotal part in this transformation, contributing significantly to our future success.
As the Director of Supply Chain Excellence, you will hold a key role in optimizing supply chain planning processes through advanced technologies, including AI and Generative AI. You will lead the integration of these technologies, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and innovation. Additionally, you will foster competency upskilling and AI literacy across the organization, equipping the team with the skills needed to create value through advanced planning and analytics. Your key responsibilities include:
HERO Planning Transformation:

Co-develop and co-lead, alongside HERO leadership, the roadmap for transforming supply chain planning processes to align with organizational goals and industry best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement advanced forecasting, store replenishment, inventory optimization, supply and production capacity planning, critical raw materials planning, and O9-enabled S&OE, S&OP/IBP planning.

Govern value realization within the HERO programme, ensuring we achieve targets for availability, inventory, cost, and forecast accuracy.

Manage the transition to new planning solutions, while maintaining support for and development of existing systems such as Logility.
Data Management, Reporting, and Analytics:

Establish robust data governance frameworks to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and consistency across the supply chain.

Lead the design and deployment of advanced analytics dashboards and reporting tools to provide actionable insights for decision-making.

Drive the adoption of predictive and prescriptive analytics to optimize supply chain performance, partnering closely with the Data & Analytics leadership team.
AI Literacy and Capability Building:

Define and execute a strategy to embed AI and Generative AI literacy within the supply chain organization.

Design and deliver training programs to enhance team skills in AI-driven planning and analytics.

Foster a culture of innovation by promoting collaboration between supply chain professionals and data science teams.
Skills Development and Value Creation:

Identify skill gaps and create a development framework to upskill employees in advanced planning, data analytics, and AI solutions.

Collaborate with supply chain leadership, HR, and external experts to design tailored competency-building initiatives.

Implement a continuous training program with a clear roadmap and history for skill enhancement within the supply chain team.
Leadership and Stakeholder Management:

Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on supply chain transformation initiatives.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in for change initiatives.

Lead and mentor a team of supply chain planning and analytics professionals, inspiring excellence and innovation.

Key Qualifications

5+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, finance, and/or manufacturing.

3+ years in a leadership or people management role for high-skilled specialist teams.

Experience in retail, fashion, or FMCG industries is a plus.

Expertise in supply chain planning tools (e.g., O9, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder).

Proficiency in data analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and familiarity with AI/ML tools, including Generative AI applications.
