This is a pivotal role in building and leading a dynamic and highly regarded Transformation team, securing strong project management capabilities and ensuring alignment with corporate strategies. Acting as a trusted advisor to the HR Leadership Team (HRLT), you will influence decision-making and lead impactful, cross-functional initiatives to drive the People Transformation agenda forward.
The ideal candidate will bring a management consulting mindset and examples to date of translating strategies into tangible business outcomes. We aren’t necessarily looking for those with exclusively people strategy experience, although it is advantageous, the key component is a credible and proactive Transformation leader with an impressive skill set, as listed below.
Key responsibilities:
Strategic Transformation Leadership
- Design, lead, and execute large-scale, cross-functional People Transformation initiatives that align with corporate strategies and deliver measurable business impact.
- Establish and enhance project management frameworks to ensure robust governance, timely delivery, and accountability across key initiatives.
Advisory to the HR Leadership Team
- Act as a strategic advisor to the HRLT, providing insights, analysis, and recommendations to shape decision-making and optimize People Transformation initiatives.
- Lead the development of business cases for key transformation projects, with clear links to financial and operational outcomes.
Driving Business Outcomes
- Ensure alignment of People Transformation initiatives with overarching corporate objectives, driving improved productivity, efficiency, and employee experience.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of initiatives, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Champion a data-driven approach to align HR strategies with tangible business metrics.
Building Project Management Capabilities
- Develop and mentor a team of project managers, embedding best practices in project delivery and strategic execution.
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the HR function.
- Lead capability-building initiatives to upskill HR professionals in project management methodologies.
Skills & Experience required:
- Experience in strategy, management consulting, or program management roles, with a focus on transformation or strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale projects with measurable business outcomes.
- Proven track record of working with executive leadership teams and influencing at the highest levels.
- Strong project management expertise, including Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma certifications (preferred).
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
- Capable of influencing and effectively partnering with senior stakeholders.
- Adept at change management and driving alignment across cross-functional teams.
