Director, Leadership Communication

Job description and areas of responsibility
As Director, Leadership Communication, you will play a key role in optimizing executive communication, supporting leadership teams, and driving employee engagement. You will work closely with senior leadership teams to develop communication strategies, craft compelling messages, and enhance leader-led communications. You will manage strategic messaging for organizational changes, business transformations, and leadership transitions, helping to ensure clarity, alignment, and impact across the company.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Executive leadership Communication: Set the strategy and provide coaching, tools, and execution support for leadership communication at the SLT and ELT level.
- Strategic messaging & change communication: Develop and execute internal messaging related to strategic changes, organizational transformations, and leadership updates.
- Executive coaching: Provide high-level coaching and communication guidance to senior leaders to enhance their engagement and impact.
- Corporate messaging: Partner with our teams for Employee Communication & Engagement, Media Relations & Public Affairs, and Corporate Branding to develop corporate messaging.
- Event communication support: Help drive message planning and orchestration for key internal events, including quarterly financial announcements, global leadership summits, and strategic transformation programs.
- Employee engagement: Ensure that leadership communication strategies contribute to high employee advocacy and engagement, measured through KPIs such as eNPS and Leadership Engagement Surveys (LES).
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with key internal stakeholders, including the CHRO LT, ELT, and Cluster HRD’s, to ensure seamless communication alignment.
Your new team
You will join Pandora’s Global Communication & Sustainability function, based at our headquarter in Copenhagen, Denmark - an international hub of passionate and performance-driven experts. You will report to the SVP, Global Communications & Sustainability and be part of the leadership team for the function.
Something about you
We are looking for an experienced and strategic communicator with a strong background in executive communication, employee engagement, and leadership coaching. To succeed in this role, you should be self-driven, proactive, and solution-oriented, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.
We believe that professionals with the following experience and skillsets are well-suited for this position:
- Master’s degree in Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in leadership communication, corporate messaging, and/or executive coaching.
- Expertise in:
- Corporate communication and HR strategy
- Executive coaching and employee engagement
- Strategic messaging and business strategy
- Speechwriting, message development, and presentation skills
- Employee listening and feedback analysis
- Strong ability to influence, partner, and build alliances across departments and leadership teams.
- Ability to evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and adapt accordingly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, data analysis tools, and digital communication platforms.
- Fluency in English.
