We are looking for the Director to oversee the E2E lifecycle of our existing ERP Microsoft AX Dynamics and co-lead the transition to our next generation ERP SAP S/4HANA. This is a key role where you can expect to be the catalyst that will both lead the existing technology whilst transforming it to the future state over the next years, and then continue driving delivery and capabilities.

As part of our digital transformation, in 2022 we launched our business transformation Program “Compass” which aims at simplifying our business, driving standardization, and setting strong foundations for our growth. We have started a greenfield implementation leveraging the newest SAP technologies. During the coming years the existing ERP solutions will continue to run the Pandora business and for this we need strong steer and stewardship, with a visionary mindset. 

 

We have a strong internal team of AX experts and experienced vendors participating in the delivery. Our scope is truly global, and we cover processes from manufacturing, distribution, retail, to procurement and finance. 

  

Your role as a Director, ERP

As our Director, ERP you will partner closely with our various domains, product management, engineering, and business process teams to maintain and operate our ERP Microsoft AX Dynamics. As a leader and people manager, you will build and support a team and help them deliver results through coaching and inspiring leadership that builds trust, engagement and belonging. This role will work closely with the SAP S/4HANA program and S4 platform team to define and implement our future operating model and co-existence during the coming years.  

  

Your responsibilities include: 

  • Accountable for lifecycle management of ERP Microsoft AX Dynamics, aligned to strategic initiatives and programs  

  • Drives operational excellence focusing on resilience, scalability and observability of the platform  

  • Provides ERP product management and prioritisation of backlogs with business stakeholders and Global Process owners  

  • Drives incident resolution and problem management and escalations 

  • Develops strong relationships with vendors to drive value from existing and future contracts 

  • Optimises product run & development costs and cycle times  

  • Drives the adoption of concepts such as secure-by-design, DevOps engineering and Agile practices as defined by Pandora engineering standards 

  • Co-leads effective transition of functionality to SAP S/4HANA and future operating model set up  

  • Post-transition, functional lead for SAP S/4HANA and application owner of digital core 

  

What is needed to succeed

  • Ideally, 10 or more years of experience working within ERP Product. SAP is a plus 

  • Deep understanding in operating and governing global ERP platforms.  

  • Experience with collaborating with engineering, product management, and cross-functional partners to build products, and delivering scalable solutions  

  • Broad service management skills (including ITIL and SRE) 

  • Highly skilled at leading and managing change in a global organization 

  • Passion for continuous learning, mentoring, growing and empowering teams 

  • Proven track record and expertise in managing global programs in a leading tech role  

  • The ability to work with large cross-functional teams to manage, support and solve problems.  

  • Retail and Omni-channel experience would be a plus
