Director, Category Management, Services Procurement

We are looking for an outstanding Director, Category Management – Services to join our world-class Global Procurement team in Copenhagen.
As part of Pandora’s PHOENIX strategy and our journey to “Buy as One Pandora” by 2027, we are reshaping our procurement organization to deliver scalable, streamlined, and value-driven solutions across all categories. Within this transformation, services procurement plays a vital role in how we support our people, power business transformation, and deliver operational excellence.
This role will lead procurement strategy across HR (recruitment, learning & development, employee benefits etc.), Professional Services (e.g. consultancy, audit, legal, external workforce), and Travel — a diverse category with a global spend of ~1 billion DKK. You’ll work closely with senior leaders including the CHRO and CFO and collaborate across HR, Finance, Business Development and more to create sustainable value leading a talented team of category management professionals to drive transformation, performance, and supplier excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Procurement Strategy Expertise: Guide and challenge category teams in shaping and executing service procurement strategies aligned with stakeholder needs and governance standards.

Process Understanding: Leverage deep knowledge of core procurement processes to enhance efficiency, governance, and value creation across service categories.

Systems Know-How: Understand and champion how procurement systems (e.g. PtP, contract management) support strategic sourcing and performance monitoring.

Transformation & PMO Leadership: Drive procurement transformation initiatives through structured project management, ensuring momentum and milestone delivery.

Stakeholder Alignment: Build strong partnerships with global functions (e.g. HR, Finance, Legal), ensuring category strategies reflect and enable broader business priorities.

Communication & Change Enablement: Lead effective communication to create awareness, alignment, and excitement around change initiatives.

Execution & Ownership: Convert strategies into action plans with clear deliverables, owners, and timelines—ensuring measurable outcomes and accountability.

Analytical & Problem Solving Mindset: Use data to identify roadblocks, prioritize efforts, and support data-driven decision-making across the sourcing lifecycle.

Process Improvement & Governance: Continuously optimize supplier governance and category management practices to deliver value and manage risk.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across procurement and the broader business to enable strong end-to-end service delivery.
We’re looking for someone who brings:

10+ years of procurement experience, with significant leadership experience in managing service-related categories (HR, professional services, travel).

Deep expertise in category strategy development, supplier negotiations, and ecosystem design.

Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and transformation programs in global organizations.

Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

Robust project management capabilities and process optimization mindset.

Experience with best-in-class sourcing tools and procurement systems.

Data-driven decision-making approach and a proactive, ownership-driven work ethic.

A strong understanding of sustainability, governance, and value-for-money in service categories.
Nice to have:

Prior experience working in a management consultancy or advising on services procurement transformation.

Experience leading external workforce and people-related spend strategies globally.
