We are looking for an exceptional Director, Category Management – Digital & Technology to join our world-class Global Procurement team in Copenhagen. 

 

As Pandora continues its PHOENIX strategy and aims to “Buy as One Pandora” by 2027, we are reinventing how Procurement drives value. This includes transforming how we manage our technology and digital supplier landscape—from fragmented to integrated, from transactional to strategic. With an annual spend across software, cloud, telecom, and D&T services including emerging technologies, this is a high-impact role shaping Pandora’s digital future. 

 

You will work closely with senior business leaders, technology stakeholders, and global suppliers to design, lead and implement procurement strategies that drive innovation, cost efficiency, competitive advantage and sustainable value. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Procurement Strategy Leadership: Drive and challenge category teams in the development and execution of forward-looking procurement strategies that align with business and digital transformation goals. 

  • Process Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of core procurement processes to ensure operational excellence and scalable value delivery across digital and technology categories. 

  • Systems Understanding: Demonstrate how procurement systems (e.g. PtP, contract lifecycle management) enable transformation, compliance, and efficiency. 

  • Program & Transformation Management: Lead and drive digital  transformation initiatives or change programs using a solid PMO and project management toolbox. 

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with C-level and functional stakeholders to co-create solutions and secure buy-in throughout the category lifecycle. 

  • Communication Excellence: Deliver clear, impactful communication to align cross-functional teams, create transparency, and promote change readiness. 

  • Change Management: Support change initiatives tied to new sourcing models, innovative technology, digital tools, and procurement processes. 

  • Problem Solving & Agility: Navigate complexity with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. Identify roadblocks early and work collaboratively to resolve them. 

  • Analytical Thinking: Leverage data to support decision-making, performance measurement, and insight generation. 

  • Process Improvement Mindset: Constantly seek opportunities to simplify, optimize and innovate procurement workflows and supplier collaboration models. 

 

We’re looking for someone who brings: 

  • 10+ years of experience in procurement, with significant expertise in digital & technology sourcing (e.g. cloud, SaaS, outsourcing services, hardware management). 

  • Proven experience leading category strategy, supplier negotiations, and transformation programs in a global organization. 

  • Extensive leadership experience in dynamic, fast-paced environments. 

  • Strong grasp of technology trends, vendor ecosystems, and procurement best practices. 

  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills. 

  • Solid understanding of procurement systems and tools. 

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities. 

  • A hands-on, collaborative approach and a continuous improvement mindset. 

Nice to have: 

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree. 

  • Prior experience in management consulting or Digital and Technology procurement advisory. 

  • Understanding of sustainability practices within the tech vendor landscape.
