Jewellery Designer - Innovation

Lead projects to create innovative products within the Pandora brand
As our new Jewellery Designer, Innovation, you will work closely with the Design Director by presenting research findings and new unique creative ideas which are aligned with our brand DNA. You will manage individual projects from beginning to end including everything from concept to final design.


You will be responsible for the development of the research and design material ensuring that this is developed and launched within the set deadlines. Furthermore, you will be responsible of aligning project requirements with the Design Director. In doing this, you will propose ideas which are original and aligned with the brand as well as oversee the successful translation and execution of design brief into sketches.


On a daily basis, you will also work on tasks related to:

  • Managing individual projects from initial research to drawing to correction of cad and physical samples
  • Develop creative and technical visual inspiration sketches and moodboards in order to present and support own ideas/designs to Design Director
  • Research innovative concepts in jewellery and other creative industries as well as proposing new materials and functionalities
  • Work on existing Pandora collections, exploring new incremental and innovative ideas in line with the brand’s DNA, as well as proposing new collections and platform ideas
  • Work closely with Creative Sourcing on new materials and techniques for own projects as well as potential new materials and techniques for Pandora
  • Work closely with different stakeholders within marketing, in relation to  ideation, development, support, research and design feasibility. Main stakeholders are Design Directors, Creative merchandising,  VP Creative Directors, Creative Sourcing, Design Development and Product Development
  • Ensure that all design and innovation material is updated and presented to Design Director within deadlines


Natural talent for innovating new ideas and a passion for jewellery design
You might be the person we are looking for if you have strong innovation skills along with a creative mindset. Analyzing and proposing new creative design and material ideas is a strength of yours and you have an ability of translating the figurative and natural world into captivating and original jewellery. Furthermore, you truly understand the importance of brand and can translate such into strong products.


We imagine that you have a Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fashion, Arts, Architecture or similar. Most important to us however is that you have a strong innovative and creative background with demonstrated design experience from the jewellery industry.


Furthermore, you have:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with design within the jewellery and/or fashion industry
  • Strong Innovative and proactive mindset
  • Ability to communicate ideas visually
  • Excellent hand sketching / technical skills
  • Strong understanding of the brand DNA and able to translate storytelling into products
  • Knowledge of the jewellery industry. Experience with charms is an advantage
  • Knowledge of jewellery manufacturing
  • Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign
