As part of expanding the Pandora Digital and Technology organization in Copenhagen, we are looking for a POS Delivery Manager.

 

Your Role as a POS Delivery Manager:

 

 

  • Manage deliveries on our point of sales application (MPOS) in Europe in close collaboration with our agile delivery teams – this includes continuous roll-out of our MPOS application on markets in Europe as well as optimization initiatives on in our markets in Europe .
  • Identify and manage dependencies, planning sequence of work, work together with the scrum master and across Pandora to ensure an agile planning of all projects and initiatives across all markets in Europe.
  • Take ownership for providing delivery advice and guidance and is accountable for coordinating the overall delivery for the roll-out.
  • Work closely alongside a Store Experience Product Director and Store Experience Delivery Manager to ensure delivery of working product increments as part of preparing the roll-outs. This will require cross-site leadership, with teams potentially located across multiple sites, near-shore or offshore.
  • Take responsibility for coordinating the roll-out of our POS in Europe using the scaled agile project management set-up, where projects plans are broken down to sprints, and delivered as increments
  • Work with squads within the POS team to ensure they have iterative delivery plans to work towards, and that everyone is clear on how they contribute towards achieving those goals.
  • Support the squads to maintain their delivery pace and remove escalated obstacles, impediments and blockers that might get in the way of their delivery.
  • Supports cross-squad working, making sure that squads effectively collaborate, communicate and focus on what is most important for delivery of value
  • They DM Work close together with the Scrum Master to deliver user stories for the Roll-out projects as part of our agile delivery model to meet our roll-out targets
  • The DM will work close together with the Product manager to ensure items in the backlog are broken down to a level suited for agile planning and prioritization of backlog
  • The DM will maintain (breakdown, groom, refine and prioritize) project/user story backlog and manage work towards milestones and roll-out targets.
  • Lead and champion the preferred delivery methodology ensuring that agile first principles are followed


What is needed to succeed: 

 

  • Experience in managing delivery teams in retail product environments, using agile and scaled agile models / structures (and identifying when and how to use different approaches).
  • Has experience working with OKRs as a framework to measure success of Squads, within a Product environment
  • Good knowledge of agile methodology and practices (Scrum, Kanban), ideally, including effective scaled agile frameworks and ways of working
  • Good planning and organisational skills within a fast paced and changing environment with multiple dependencies
  • Good analytical skills and methodical approach to problem solving
  • Able to demonstrate an ability to effectively support the delivery flow of the Tribe, leading to sustainable improvements over time, and to manage internal and external risks, issues and dependencies (and removes blockers that affect Squads’ ability to deliver).
  • Can effectively facilitate difficult discussions within Squads and with diverse senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate technical understanding and competence to enable them to have credible discussions with POS team members
  • Aptitude to act as a conduit for internal   communication, bringing people and teams together to best solve issues.
  • Able to work with delivery community to continuously review processes and seek improvements, experimenting with new ideas and encouraging a mind-set of experimentation.
  • Experience of good practice in planning, driving sensible consistency across Squads. Demonstrated ability to manage complex internal and external dependencies, to plan sequence of work across Squads, and to understand dependencies outside of the POS team
  • Highly motivated and self-starting with a personal drive for continuous development
  • Experience in Retail Point of sale system design, development and implementation, ideally MPOS (Microsoft POS) 3+ years' experience of leading delivery of agile programmes and products
  • Strong passion for retail, e-commerce, or technology / digital
  • Qualifications in
    • Scrum.org PSM, Scrum Alliance CSM, or equivalent preferred
    • SAFe (optional)
