About the Team

In Delivery & Planning, we have a mission of driving and improving end to end delivery of tech initiatives in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams – seeking to deliver expected outcome and value for our customers and colleagues in shortest possible time to market while staying within budget.

 

With an ambitious strategic roadmap, company growth and transformation plans for Pandora we are looking for a strong Delivery CoE Lead for our Digital & Tech organisation.

In this role you will be leading the delivery for a Product Line, a virtual agile organisation consisting of multiple product teams – all working towards same high level OKRs and goals. You will become an integral part of the Product line leadership team, working alongside the Product and Engineering Leads. Moreover, you will be the people leader for other delivery leads across the organization in our Delivery Centre of Excellence (CoE).

 

We would like to hear from you if you are passionate about delivery and a strong enabler & facilitator with a servant leadership mindset. You have strong foundations in Agile, with previous working experience as a Scrum Master for multiple teams, Release Train Engineer, Programme manager or similar. You can see yourself working in a fast-paced environment with many stakeholders, where your communication and interpersonal skills are needed and your ability to collaborate and engage is essential.

 

Your role as Delivery Lead (Specialist Role)

  • Lead delivery of a Product Line consisting of four to eight teams
  • Support in managing the teams’ budget, staffing, and vendors to make sure that we operate efficiently as long-standing teams and remain within budgets.
  • Be the “Servant Leader” of your teams who will guide and inspire them, embedding agile ways of working and driving its adoption, focusing on iterative delivery of value and establishing a continuous development mindset in your teams.
  • Coach your teams in agile practices and drive the efforts to upskill the team in adopting agile tooling and practices ensuring velocity and delivery best practice
  • Keep track of delivery, team capacity, and increase visibility of committed workload, deliverables, dependencies, and risks.
  • Facilitate scrum events and quarterly planning events incl. teams’ readiness ceremonies, quarterly planning, retro and review.
  • Support Product Management in creating clear OKRs and ensure focus on delivering the right value to the business.
  • Support the teams to maintain their delivery pace and remove impediments and blockers that might get in the way of their delivery – applying problem solving and common sense

 

Your role as CoE Lead (People Manager Role)

  • Manage a team of 4 to 6 Delivery Leads, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to support their growth and development.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with each Delivery Lead to track their progress, address challenges, and create tailored development plans.
  • Ensure that each Delivery Lead is effectively supporting their assigned teams, meeting delivery goals, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Lead performance reviews for your team, identifying opportunities for skill development and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new Delivery Leads to build a high-performing, scalable team.
  • Ensure that Delivery Leads have access to the right tools, frameworks, and resources to drive successful outcomes for their teams.
  • Foster an inclusive and empowering environment where team members feel valued, supported, and motivated to achieve their best work.
  • Work closely with other team leads to promote knowledge sharing, cross-team collaboration, and best practice adoption among your Delivery Leads to drive consistency and excellence in delivery practices.

 

What is needed to succeed

  • Strong hands-on experience of agile delivery (5+ years), in an RTE, Lead/Senior Scrum Master roles or similar.
  • Servant leadership mindset and great coaching skills, you can empower and educate the team in efficient delivery.
  • Good knowledge of agile methodology and practices (Scrum, Kanban), ideally, including effective scaled agile frameworks (for example SAFe or Spotify)
  • Certification in an agile framework (for example Certified Scrum Master or Leading SAFe).
  • It is a plus if you have experience with setting up new agile teams or embedding them into new Product Lines/Squads/Agile Release Trains.
  • Experience of good practice in planning and managing flow, you can drive sensible consistency in your teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex internal and external dependencies, to plan sequence of work across teams, and to understand dependencies outside of your team – also in a hybrid portfolio consisting of waterfall programmes and agile product lines
  • Problem solver, you can help remove the impediments your team faces
  • Ability to plan and build budgets, and track adherence to budget
  • Able to work with delivery community to continuously review processes and seek improvements, experimenting with new ideas and encouraging a mind-set of innovation.
  • A good understanding and interest in technology and the variety of disciplines and interplays involved in technology delivery.
