Your Role as a D365 Commerce Technical Consultant


  • You will be responsible for managing and keeping our Retail technology solutions (Microsoft D365 for Commerce, MPOS/CPOS, Payment and peripherals) up and running in order to ensure operational stability for all of our stores in Europe.You will be providing expertise and advice on technical aspects of the applications with regards to development, upgrades and releases, and support.
  • You will both be part of application operation as well as participating in project activities to support the initiatives with technical expertise.
  • Work closely with the business and store Experience Operations team working towards implementing the solution to new markets when Pandora is expanding to other countries and regions.
  • You will develop, update and maintain workflows that integrate Pandora’s data and systems using Azure Logic Apps
  • Perform production maintenance using LCS for approved releases
  • Advise product manager, business and functional colleagues on best practices for development and integration processes.
  • Monitor operations related to batch jobs, logic app failures, integrations with external applications etc.,
  • Participate and lead technical troubleshooting, resolution of problems and take part in L3 support together with the technical teams and our external suppliers.
  • Continuously work to improve the overall scalability and stability of the solution together with the technical teams and our external suppliers.
  • Ensure technical documentation of processes is updated and maintained.
  • Escalate issues to Microsoft, and other third-party vendors as appropriate


What is needed to succeed:

  • Proficiency in support of D365 F&O and Commerce, D365 Data Management and Azure Logic Apps
  • Experience in Microsoft development technologies (X++) with understanding of fundamentals of C# .net, HTML and Type script (Retail SDK)
  • Experience in the user of source control tools (Git, TFS)
  • Have previous experience with large ERP implementations or continuous delivery models as technical consultant
  • Experience working within an agile delivery framework (ceremonies, user story sizing)
  • Have excellent communication skills and strong experience in dealing with business stakeholders - relatability to non-technical business users and technical resources.
  • Be familiar with SQL
  • Be familiar with Azure DevOps or Jira.
  • Be Service Oriented and with good business acumen.
  • Demonstrable ability to take ownership and make effective decisions
