Job description and areas of responsibility:  

We are looking for a Creative Sourcing Director, who will be working within the Global Product function at Pandora.


In this role, your main responsibilities will be to deliver new jewellery components/techniques into the  process that achieves the Creative Vision with Cost and Quality in mind. In other words, you will be the main point of contact between the designers and the suppliers with a demonstrated creative and technical ability to translate the requirements of the business.


This encompasses a wide range of work including:

  • Work closely with Design & Development teams to creatively support in terms of material supply, technical information, cost information and quality consultation.
  • Ensure a smooth running sourcing process between Pandora’s internal stake holders and external suppliers.
  • Support VPs and Design Directors with product vision and strategy e.g. provide research, samples, technical consultant, support with cost negotiation/alternative cost options, etc.
  • Work directly with external suppliers (finished jewellery and components) on new materials and ideas and ensure the suppliers are challenges with innovation, quality and price.
  • Lead a small high performance team.
  • Organise and maintain the physical material library.


What is needed to succeed:

We are looking for a strong professional with a proven track record in sourcing, supplier management, trend research, products/materials development, production process, understanding of cost and executing on new materials and techniques across all jewellery products. You have a creative, collaborative working style with Designers, you are proactive and organised in offering new ideas as well as removing obstacles.


Furthermore, we envision that you have and can demonstrate:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in jewellery industry or strong jewellery product knowledge
  • Experience with project management and excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with sourcing and external suppliers management. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, i.e. deliver structured and simple messages on presentations
  • Experience with creative process and understand the internal brand asthetic.
