Creative Merchandising Manager (Maternity Cover), Product Design Management

Your Role:

As Creative Merchandising Manager, you will be co-responsible for aligning the creative with the commercial in both product and collection development for our world famous jewelry. With a creative and analytical mind,  you are always on top of the latest market and are assessing cultural trends and how this can impact gaps, opportunities and sales performance within Pandora. You are a natural communicator with great negotiation and stakeholder management skills and are detail orientated to ensure we achieve key targets and deliverables, collaborating closely at all times with the Design, Development, Merchandising and Marketing/GBU teams.

 

You will provide key support in product and collections development between Design, Development, Merchandising, Marketing/GBU:

  • Operates commercially, and maintains an overview of the ‘bigger picture’ across all collections and categories.
  • Works in close collaboration with the Design and development teams to influence strategic plans and collection/cycle development.. (sharing performance and sales analysis, competitor data and commercial insights to identify collection gaps and opportunities) .
  • Co-creates Assortment plan pr development cycle, together with Merchandising based on Consumer insights sales data, trends and creative vision
  • Drive gross sales and support net contribution; create excitement in the collections through the introduction of innovative concepts, vendors and products
  • Constant market and competitor analysis leading to in-depth knowledge of trends
  • Product expert – extensive knowledge of assortment and performance

 

What is needed to succeed:

  • 2-3 years’ experience within another company in a Buying or Product Merchandising  role
  • Passionate about (and with previous experience working in) jewellery, fashion, creative and cultural industries
  • High quality written & verbal communication in English
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, with strong emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Educated at university level

The position will run from February 1st 2023 until February 1st 2024
