About the role

As a Copywriter (Maternity Cover) you will develop content strategies and create compelling copy for cross-channel marketing activations for specific global audiences. You are highly creative, innovative, and experienced in content creation for digital channels. The ideal candidate is a skilled copywriter with a strong focus on social media and a good understanding of digital marketing and personalization, as well as passion for jewellery, fashion, and lifestyle.

 

Reporting to the Head of Dynamic Content, the Copywriter will:

  • Collaborate with channel leads to develop storylines that align with our vision and resonate with our key audiences.
  • Work side-by-side with art directors and graphic designers to develop effective cross-channel communication.
  • Develop and test new strategies and formats which align with tone of voice and overall content strategy.
  • Continuously review metrics to analyze copy effectiveness and apply data to copy strategy to maximize performance.
  • Understand the nuances of our customer segments/channels and adjust the content or story as needed to maximize relevancy.
  • Remain current on relevant trends and cultural influences, particularly in the area of fashion, beauty and lifestyle.

 

Requirements

  • Relevant university degree in Journalism, Communication or related field and a minimum of 3 years of copywriting experience.
  • Native-English speaker with creative writing and storytelling skills and an ability to develop and deliver a clear, inspiring point of view.
  • Ability to translate business KPIs and brand requirements into copy across multiple channels and audiences.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively present and articulate ideas to stakeholders across different seniority levels.
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills, able to meet tight deadlines and prioritise.
  • Good understanding of digital media best practices and an expert-level knowledge of social media.
  • Experience working for global brands with work spanning multiple geographies, hands-on experience with localization is a big plus.
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements for digital marketing channels driving performance and brand awareness would be an advantage.
  • Strong grasp on culture and eye for trends in the jewellery / fashion / beauty industry.
