About the role  

As a Commercial Insights Analyst, you will embark on a journey where data meets strategy, creativity meets analytics, and insights lead to impactful decisions. Your role is critical in sculpting Pandora’s commercial strategies, transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive our product collections, promotional strategies, and revenue growth. You will not only respond to business needs but anticipate them, setting the stage for innovation and efficiency in everything we do. 

  

Some of your key accountabilities will be to:  

  • Strategize and Influence: Support and shape Pandora’s commercial strategies through rigorous analytics and provide recommendations on tactical and strategic actions to Pandora’s senior leadership teams 

  • Hypothesize and Test: Leverage large, dispersed data sets to formulate and validate commercial hypotheses in close collaboration with our commercial teams 

  • Innovate and Develop: Provide in-depth analyses and develop tools to empower colleagues across the globe to drive actionable commercial insights  

  • Communicate and Present: Share your findings across the organization in a way that is both clear and compelling, ensuring your insights resonate across teams  

  • Collaborate and Build: Work hand-in-hand with BI, IT and Advanced Analytics teams to enhance our analytics infrastructure, ensuring seamless and scalable insights generation  

  • Lead and deliver: Drive projects from inception to completion, demonstrating ownership, initiative, and capacity to manage cross-functional projects

To succeed in this role, you need to understand and have a strong interest in data and data modeling as well as desire to drive and own complex projects. Your mindset is analytical, and your workstyle is fact based and collaborative. You are not afraid to challenge the status quo to deliver insightful findings that will give new perspectives and inspire colleagues. And you have documented ability to perform under pressure and to organise and prioritise workload to meet multiple deadlines.  

  

Adding to the above, we hope to see that you have: 

  • University degree  

  • Minimum 2-4 years of professional experience - preferably from Consulting/Retail/FMCG/  

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and strong business acumen, which enables you to quickly understand the key business questions to ask and answer and deliver upon 

  • Passionate and curious colleague with a can-do attitude and a strong drive to independently complete complex tasks and projects within an agreed time frame. 

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office package, including being a super user of Excel 

  • A highly creative and innovative mind able to design, develop, and implement new initiatives combined with exceptional learning abilities 

  • Exceptional written, visual and verbal communication & presentation skills, i.e. able to deliver structured and simple messages in presentations to key stakeholders. 

  • Ability to work with complex data from multiple data sources and to understand new datasets and data structures 

  • Team player with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization 

  • Not essential but will be considered an advantage: Experience with Alteryx or similar ETL / analysis tools and BI tools (such as Power BI)
