Analyst, RGM - Promotion Excellence

City:  Copenhagen V
Country/Region:  DK
Application Deadline:  5th September 2025

Analyst, RGM – Promotional Excellence

If you love turning complex datasets into crisp, actionable recommendations, this role puts you at the heart of one of Pandora’s biggest EBIT growth drivers: Revenue Growth Management — with a focus on Promotional Excellence. You’ll help optimize our promotional strategy and retail discount spend through data, clear guardrails, and a consistent operating drumbeat across clusters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive promotional intelligence & post‑mortems. Build and run a consistent cadence of KCP and quarterly post‑mortems with action‑oriented insights and recommendations; support clusters with ad‑hoc analytics around mechanics, duration and timing.
  • Own discount tracking & forecasting routines. Maintain monthly/quarterly tracking of retail discount spend and promotional pressure; contribute to budget and forecasting tools used by clusters.
  • Operationalize promo guardrails. Help translate strategy into practical guidelines (mechanics, duration, product scope), enabling smarter, ROI‑positive discount investments and fewer off‑strategy activations.
  • Champion ROD (Return on Discount). Apply a budget and ROD mindset to evaluate proposals, build Plan A/Plan B scenarios, and support last‑minute decisions with facts.
  • Scale promo data & tooling. Partner with Data & Analytics to evolve a single source of truth, improve promo data quality, and maintain dashboards that track performance and competitiveness.
  • Bring the outside in. Contribute to monthly competitive intelligence on promotional intensity and market dynamics to inform strategy and cluster choices.
  • Communicate what matters. Distil complex analysis into clear narratives and recommendations for cross‑functional partners and senior stakeholders in Merchandising and Finance.

Your Skills & Background

  • 2–4 years in RGM/Pricing, Finance, Commercial Analytics, or Consulting with a track record of data‑driven impact.
  • Strong Excel and data visualization (e.g., Power BI); experience with Alteryx or similar ETL tools is a plus; working knowledge of SQL and/or Python/R is an advantage.
  • Comfort working with large, messy datasets and turning analysis into decisions; familiarity with A/B testing and uplift/elasticity concepts is a plus.
  • Structured, curious, and proactive. You thrive in fast‑moving environments, influence without authority, and communicate crisply with non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English with excellent presentation skills.

The Team

You’ll join Pandora’s Global RGM & Pricing organization within Merchandising. The team safeguards margins and drives profitable growth across pricing and promotions, with the Promotional Excellence CoE focusing on promo strategy, discount budgeting, governance and best practices across clusters.
