About the Team:

The Human Resources Business Partner acts strategically across assigned business areas through the assisted development and execution of HR programs, policies, and solutions that help drive behaviors and attain business goals. Ensures policies and programs are implemented consistently across business groups. Partners with Leadership to provide strategic consulting on the most complex HR issues.  The position serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues. The HRBP acts as an employee champion and change agent. In addition, this role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs and communicates needs proactively between our HR department and business management. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.

 

Your Role as HRBP, Distribution Center

 

  • Serve as a member of the Americas Operations Leadership Team, contributing to strategic HR decision-making and operational excellence.
  • Responsible for day-to-day workforce relations to include ensuring that work environments and workplace practices promote a positive employee relations environment free of discrimination, harassment, or any form of unfair or unethical practice.
  • Collaborate and partner with local HR team members and global HR team members on initiatives, strategy and processes. Act as liaison and ensure language, strategy and initiatives are relatable and effective for DC (Distribution Center) population and workforce.
  • Think and act strategically. Assist the leadership team to drive initiatives and remain on the leading edge. Understand current environmental and economic issues and their impact on people.
  • Provide management with collaborative consultation on sensitive or complex employee relations issues.
  • Review and monitor performance management process to ensure quality, timeliness and effectiveness for business.
  • Assist with the needs assessment and determination of management and leadership training for business area.
  • Oversees and manages the talent acquisition responsibilities for NAM Operations. Partners with LATAM HR for LATAM Operations recruitment needs.
  • Provide management with collaborative consultation on sensitive or complex employee relations issues.
  • Partners with the Performance & Rewards leader to ensure competitive pay for internal and external hires as well as to manage the communication and execution of pay for performance methodology and other aspects of our compensation philosophy.
  • Partners with the Talent leader to implement appropriate change management, manager assimilation, and related tools and processes. Assists with facilitating Talent programs for the NAM Operations team.
  • Partners with Global counterparts from other DC’s on projects and initiatives.
  • Manages and creates engagement activities and programs for NAM Operations team.
  • Assist managers in the design of jobs and/or facilitate the identification of core competencies and skill requirements across the business area to ensure consistency.
  • Provide training and consulting in effective employee performance management practices including coaching, career development, and disciplinary actions.
  • Serve as confidante, resource, and sounding board to business managers and leaders.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of local legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal department as needed/required.
  • Promote and champion Pandora values in every day activities.
  • Partner with the Finance Manager on budget planning for HR and employee wage expenses.
  • Analyze HR data and maintain key HR metrics to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Present information to employees in a clear, engaging manner; communicate updates and initiatives effectively through storytelling techniques.
  • Manage HR Generalist, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure alignment with business objectives and HR best practices.

  • Minimum of 8 to 10 years' experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
  • Previous successful management experience preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of human resources including organizational development, employee relations, and talent management.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships and convey information clearly across all levels.
  • Proactively engage and provide timely support to stakeholders.
  • Understand organizational strategy and align HR initiatives with business goals.
  • Integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with legal standards.

Maryland Salary: $106,000-$133,000 commensurate with experience This position requires a 3 day a week cadence.

The Pandora North America team in the USA & Canada consists of more than 115 employees working at our offices in New York & Baltimore, more than 80 in our Logistics Center in Columbia, Maryland, an additional 100 in field positions, and more than 3,900 in our owned and operated stores.  

Today, the USA is Pandora’s single largest market. The Pandora North American region as a whole encompasses over 1,400 points of sale, including over 420 concept stores, with more than 300 being owned and operated by Pandora.
