Divisional Sales Manager – Key Account Manager

As our new Divisional Sales Manager – Key Account Manager, you will play a critical role in driving Pandora’s growth across Mexico by developing strong partnerships with our key accounts. This is a unique opportunity to accelerate business performance, expand our brand presence, and deliver exceptional commercial results in a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing key accounts, optimizing product assortments, driving purchase volumes, and executing impactful commercial strategies that strengthen partner performance and achieve sales targets. Reporting directly to the Country Director Mexico, you will act as the main point of contact with our strategic partners, leading negotiations, influencing key decision-makers, and ensuring alignment with Pandora’s strategic objectives.

Based in Ciudad de Mexico, this role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by fostering long-term relationships with partners, shaping commercial initiatives that resonate with consumers, and ensuring excellence in execution across all channels. The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen, analytical capabilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

 

Key Accountabilities

As Divisional Sales Manager – Key Account Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

Account Management

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts.

  • Act as the main point of contact between Pandora and key partners, fostering mutual growth and stability.

  • Lead negotiations to secure mutually beneficial terms and influence decision-makers to drive business outcomes.

  • Advise partners on optimal product assortments based on market trends and consumer preferences.

  • Ensure alignment between partner objectives and Pandora’s strategic goals.

  • Collaborate with Merchandising and Sales teams to ensure the product mix meets market demands.

  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through clear communication and proactive issue resolution.

Sales & Operations Management

  • Drive sales growth by advising partners on product range and purchase volumes.

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to increase brand presence and sales across partners’ distribution channels.

  • Monitor and analyze partner performance using KPIs and sales data to identify improvement areas and optimize results.

  • Report regularly on sales status and key performance metrics.

  • Collect market and partner insights to inform future strategies.

  • Travel frequently within Mexico to meet partners and oversee business performance.

  • Ensure store operations adhere to brand guidelines and operational standards.

  • Conduct regular audits and seek opportunities for operational excellence and process improvement.

Training & Support

  • Support the training team to ensure store staff are equipped to meet performance standards.

  • Conduct regular audits to assess training effectiveness and identify development opportunities.

 

More about you

  • Experience: Proven track record in key account management, sales, or business development within retail or wholesale industries, ideally in jewelry or fashion. 5–10 years of experience in Key Account Management roles within fast-moving retail environments. 

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities to interpret sales data, KPIs, and market trends; proficiency in CRM and sales analytics tools such as Salesforce or Power BI.

  • Financial Acumen: Experience managing budgets, setting pricing strategies, and understanding financial reports to inform pricing and commercial decisions.

  • Project Management: Ability to implement and monitor multiple commercial initiatives and manage several key accounts simultaneously.

  • Retail & E-Commerce Knowledge: Solid understanding of retail, e-commerce, and omnichannel business models.

  • Market & Competitor Analysis: Skilled in market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions.

  • IT Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with ERP systems and e-commerce platforms.

  • Strong commercial skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at senior levels.

  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in Spanish and English.

  • Problem-solving skills to address complex challenges and propose effective solutions.

  • Highly motivated self-starter, capable of working independently and collaboratively to drive success.

  • Available to travel 60–70% of the time across the Mexican territory
